Hallo Hallo ma jewels.
I have been reading but i was silent. But when the producer/channel/actors & creatives of ktlk (further addressed as WE) are being pulled up for what was one man's decision to quit, i can no longer be part of the crime. I am not angered by your anger. I am concerned. Obviously your love for the hero you have created is humbling but don't be judgemental across the line.
1. Audience is not GOD. Sorry. The business of entertainment is a two way relationship based on mutual admiration, love & respect. The idea is to entertain and be entertained. Do not loose the reality while hero worshiping.
2. We propose. We promise to succeed. We succeed but sometimes we also fail. But how can we fail consciously or purposely? Why in the world would we be "playing" with yours emotions? And in the bargain get our own stomachs and butts kicked?? Does it make any sense?
3. Shit happens. But no one wants to sink it's own ship deliberately?? Let me remind to that this is bread and butter for more than 150 people in the unit over here!! We run our kitchens with this. We have families to feed. We take our work very seriously. We work hard to succeed so that our future is secure as far as possible. But shit happens!
4. MB is not coming back. MB left for reasons best known to him. You think we wanted him to go and be in a soup like this?!! No. You think we did not try to stop him?!! Of course we did. But what can you do beyond a point? It's his decision, his life.
5. And since then do u have any idea as to what the channel and producers are going through trying to sort this mess? But you know ...we are not going to give up! We will fight. We will still try our best. All over again if we have to. It is difficult without MB as we all know he was the backbone of ktlk.. but what can we do?! We have more reasons to cry here. But we are trying to smile. Your evenings are ruined?!! So sad...But our career is dented here. Our work is cut short... payments reduced!! The unit will have to look for new work if the show shuts down soon. And with no fault of ours. But we will not let our spirits die...that's for sure. Jai ho!
PS:Love u all for the love and support you have given me...in case you leave after reading this...Hehe... Tadaaa... But i will be back soon :-)
