And this show hasn't been on air that long...only 5 months now. If he couldn't give that kind of commitment due to health/ time with family or whatever, he should have thought this through before he signed on. Leaving a project in the lurch because one suddenly realizes that its challenging one's rhythm or outlook in life is not done in my POV.

I can only guess that 12 days a month going up to 18/20 days a month was not workable for him due to personal circumstances (health and/or family) and, he drew a line. My husband is willing to occasionally extend an 8 hour day to 10 hour day but he is not willing to do it as a rule. He has foregone a project for time commitment going way above that indicated to him at the time of joining the project. It happens all the time in IT. Infact he was willing to stretch himself but I was not willing to allow him to stretch himself for fear of his health getting affected. Apologies if I am labouring my point too much.

Anyway it all boils down to individual expectation, determination, motivation, resilience and temperament. We can keep analysing this to death and say he could have done this..the channel could have done that etc etc, but we are not sitting in his head and we have no idea what he's thinking. At the end of the day it was his call and he chose the option that suited him best. That's what he said on his wall too...

Karan's Angels And we disagree the show would have had high trps if male lead was willing to so the scenes that were require in 1st place!! We just don't get why actors take up such shows in 1st place if they knew they would be uncomfortable..

this is what i had posted a few days back...coz i personally don't like to believe gossip, esp about a person jise "dil se dost kabool kiya" ...

today also, after reading NP's status, i thought that NP wanted fans to stop lamenting & wanted to make them stop revolving their lives over something that could not be undone!!...BUT just went thru the comments, n seeing the comments which NP & Arpitaa have "liked", gives a totally new perspective (at least for me) to this entire off-screen drama...so far, whatever was being said in media, could not be taken at face value, AT LEAST BY ME...but if NP is saying this, must say I am STUMPED!!...I am almost in a stupor!!...I need to gather my senses to comment further!!...

EXAMPLE:

Zarine Tirmizi Kudos to you NP for giving us the real picture. The serial had lost its sparkle because of one person's unprofessionalism. And not surprisingly, the guilty walked out leaving everyone in the lurch. His holier than thou posts are such a facade.

I think NP's got a dose of reality after visiting the set in the last couple of days. Or Stony and the PH have brainwashed him and made him backstab his best friend Ashu 😛

Maybe we do need an Adaalat or CID special to solve this mystery 😆

Would have loved to expound on this, but it seems that the development team at IF aren't too happy with discussions of this sort ( I personally see no problem in the discussions provided folks don't cross the line regarding criticism, and I think most of us are mature enough not to do so 😊, but it is IF's forum after all )

After seeing that NP has liked this comment i am totally stumped...All this while I was supporting MB although there had been a nagging doubt in my mind that in all probability he could not be the saint we actually thought him to be...at least not in this particular case...He has made himself out to be the injured party when in actual fact he could have been the perpetrator of the crime/deed...

I have only one thing to say if this is actually true...Success and the sudden adulation he received from his fans seems to have gone into his (and Mrs B's) head...If this is so then I pity him...he should know that in this field such unprofessional attitude brings with it a lot of repercussions...He seems to be quite satisfied with doing films...so be it...After all this I think it could be in the best interest of the show if a replacement is brought in..Who knows the replacement may be as good as him or may even help raise TRPs if he follows a professional attitude and pleases the fans...Also a pleasant atmosphere on the sets may enable the team to think more creatively and may even help them to improve the story-line of the show...Often things turn out for the best...as they say there is always some good in all the bad that happens...

So friends lets put the past behind us...We all loved MB as Ashutosh...But now we know for sure that he is never coming back as Ashutosh...so lets look forward and give the new actor our full support and at least give him a chance to prove his mettle...who knows we may even like him and accept him as Ashutosh...I at least am willing to give him a chance to prove his worth and also to the CVs to show us what they are capable of...If after all this TRPs don't increase then I am sure it will be curtains down for KTLK...The fate of KTLK is now in the hands of the team and also in the hands of our new Dr Ashutosh...Wishing them all the very best...
