1. Don't ask a Question unless you know the answer...or be prepared for shock or awe

2. Answers to most questions are obvious, so look within first... in other words, the answer often lies within the question itself

Hope this brings you clarity... as MB appears disinclined towards charity!

Hi All. My two cents. What Sneha Rajani & MB are doing is a classic text book method of strategic change management taught in business schools. The transition curve from old reality to new reality passes through the stages of shock, denial, protest, awareness and finally acceptance. I think most of KTLK and MB fans are through the stage 1, a big majority through stage 2 and some almost through the stage three. The method also sets the kind and amount of communication that needs to be sent out to people affected by the change so that they can move along this transition curve. MB's statement of Tuesday and subsequent absence and, Sneha's comments of Tuesday and then yesterday need to be viewed in this context. Sneha tried sympathising on Tuesday which was a text book thing to do, gave three days to fans to adjust but it did not work, hence the harsh tweet sent out yesterday to jolt people into facing the new reality. Of course I am under no illusion that this is Sony's desperate and last ditch attempt to garner TRPs but the track besides being designed to garner TRPs is also designed symbolically to help people adjust to the new reality. In any change that is this drastic, old symbols need to be destroyed to enable affected people move ahead. My belief, till I am proved wrong, is that Dr. A as a character is not gone but MB is surely out of the show - permanently or for a short period - for whatever reason(s). Accident makes sense whether he has exited permanently or temporarily. I am sure MB must be watching all the activity on his facebook but his comment at this stage will actually take people affected by this change back to denial stage and the requests/pleas to reconsider will start all over again. If he does not comment, fans might get angry, disillusioned but will make an attempt to move on. Please dont bash me. In addition to being a KTLK and MB fan, I am also watching this saga with academic interest. This for me is a real time case study of strategic change management.

while I agree with the other points I beg to differ with the bolded part ; ofcourse just my pov😳
If he clarifies that his back ache has become so worse that he cant continue to take trouble of acting many hours as a stretch, I feel -other than a handful- the fans would understand him and support him. When they realise their idol is in pain and had no other choice I am sure they will keep quiet.
At present what is happening is this; fans think either
1. the Ph was solely responsible for his exit
2. He decided to quit coz he had 'creative difference'
3. He will and can come back if the PH cajole him to do so.

If he has already decided that he wont, then he has to come open to his fans ..ofcourse unless the third point is true to an extend.
But the point is students are wasting their time on his fb wall and he is in a way responsible

Mimsy Wow👏!! Me not a management student..so most of your post was a googly cum bouncer🤔

But I think I get the gist of what you're saying.. you're saying MB is keeping quiet for the greater good.. he's making a supreme sacrifice and willingly accepting brickbats in the process so as to enable his fans to move on faster and reach stage 5..i.e acceptance. Just like Ashu did in the show when he dismissed Nidhi for her own good to discourage her from forming an attachment to him..
But don't you think they might go to stage 6...extreme anger and frustration? Just like Nidhi did and all of us who were watching? To date, no one has gotten over Ashu's insensitive behaviour when he dismissed Nidhi...
Methinks this strategy might just backfire on him... he should reconsider if he wants any fans left at all to post on his wall if and when he returns with his new show...
