TOI : Mohnish Quits TV show - Page 3

can't believe am spechless we are guessing rit frm 1st day

This will be the last time I watch a show for an actor. The reasons given are valid and you can add the official reason to the list too.

These days on tv nobody does a romantic serial sans romance whatever the situation. So practically, he shouldn't have accepted it given his experience.

Goodluck to those who have hope of the replacement. I have no idea who Anuj is, so I aint gonna take another chance. And even if it is RR, I think I've seen enough of age-gap romance with him. Afterall, I watched MB for the first time and got ditched bigtime. No malice but I've the choice to quit.

Thank Tanu, reading ur masti-ful updates and the discussions thereafter were great. Do continue your super attitude into the future.

Whoever is replacing MB need to be a good actor who can get into the skin of a complicated character like Ashu and keep up with his co-star who is very powerful in terms of acting, she is not just another good looking barbie doll!. Only hope he does the 'nainon ki bhasha' as well as MB or maybe they will go for little less emotion and add in the physical side of this relation to compensate for this.

I just read this TOI article that MBs tantrums regarding the no touch issue was too much for PH/ Sony to handle. Most of us probably had a sneaking suspicion that this was the case! I feel there is definitely more to this than anyone is admitting and it has to do with the future tracks and the direction this show is about to take. I feel that this decision has been taken in the last few days given the fact that PH is only now searching for a replacement.

When Sneha R from Sony wrote they have worked out all combinations with MB my guess is that he wanted the hospital romance like what was originally planned but maybe PH/Sony want it to be more dramatic like a marriage track against family's wishes and then Ashni together will face society. So when there are basic ideological differences it is better to part ways than put up with each other.

Whoever is replacing MB (yes replacing!) the story should continue as is for the good of the show. They cannot afford to kill Ashu bcoz there are a lot of other characters connected to him and a lot of tracks that are left hanging that need to conclude.

P.S:Hindsight is 20-20. Maybe MB is best suited for a show like Adalat, no romance at all but acting and performance need to be top notch!

OKK.. the true reasons are out. He refused to hold KK's hands or do romantic scenes b'coz of his wife??? i dont get this. Both of them have worked in bollywood, so this is nothing infront of that, as i have said in earlier post that MB used to do negative role where he had to loot izzat (ONSCREEN) of top actresses😛...

But after reading this i felt relieved. Now i think I will be able to accept new face.
BTW just watched yesterday's episode, actually it was good. Today's episode will end with that accident scene i guess...

I have never really agreed with TOI articles in the past but in this case I definitely believe what they have written. Now all I want to know is who is his replacement. Good luck to the team of KTLK coz they desperately need it right now. The script has been bad for a long time but when the lead actor also quits they will need all the help they can get to survive. No matter who the replacement is it is going to interesting to see whether it will work for Sony or not.

I guess TOI is unaware of a common trend that exists in Indian television shows which is when a lead actor of a show quits the producer of that show is never available to comment. Hence, producers only comment when a show is doing excellent i.e. high trps but they never comment when the show's script is bad or an actor quits.
