Shyama aunty was supportive and kind-heartedly warned Nidhi to be careful where and how she meets Ashu. I guess the coming epis might see Nidhi opening up more to her. Her support will probably be the clincher for AShNi since everyone in Nidhi's family seem to be against them. 😊

I don't get DBs sanctimoniousness here.. I mean she's from a generation where this kind of thing was common. My grandparents had 15 yrs between them and my husband's aunt is married to a guy older than her by 17 yrs. It was common in those days to get young girls in thier teens..16,17..married to older guys in their 30s. SO its hard to understand her stand on this issue. 😕

Baba of course was subdued but made it very clear that he would in no circumstances accept this umar ka faasla kinda relationship... here again his argument was a little off... he says even a 5 yr age gap is huge these days.. an older guy feels the girl is a child. I'm not totally convinced thats the case. There's a reason why a woman is the younger partner usually..its bcos girls age faster than men and a 5-6 yr age gap is more a norm than an exception.

Agreed in AshNi's case the difference is huge and looks unsurmountable..but all in all they live in a somewhat cosmo city, they are urban, educated ...and not broad-minded enough. Even Anji's stance is a little hard to digest... she studied fashion and though in her defence she's looking out fro her friend and she envisages all sorts of problems for her... its strange that she herself is against it.😕

Anyways, our cheery Nidz is so troubled that she doesn't even speak to her droolicious Saiyyan (looking hot in a black shirt!☺️) ..and he's understandably worried.

sounds like an interesting and gripping episode...Nidhi is rattled but she will not waver...she'll always be the stronger one in this relationship...however I just melted hearing how Ashu was haq jama-ing on his baby and demanding to meet her...pissed off that she would ignore him...perfect.

Good to know Baba has at least some intuition left and can feel that Nidhi isn't interested in Rohan...Anji's constant disapproval is heartbreaking...if I was Nidhi...and My best friend kept openly telling me she doesn't like my relationship...it would be crushing...

Brilliantly written post.tanu ji, i loved today's episode they showed something that might soon gonna crop up in ashni life..baba doesn't saying to solanki that nidhi doesn't hv love feeling for rohan is gud.Baba's pointblank bullet to nidhi made her so depressed that she cudn't even speak properly to her hubby on phn.. Shama aunty looks to b full supportive of ashni..:) anjie made it clear to nidhi that she frm start hs been against ashni relationship.. So SB is slumdog millionaire..lolz..he ate mallu's 1cr. Rupees.hahaha..so sad mallu..overall truely worth watching epi. CAUTION:my POV. the BADA twist that gonna happen after disco night by ashni is that mandira nidhi's far relation who is frm usa is gonna come to lucknow & stay @ hotel bt smehw will land up @ the disco on same night along with her hubby & will probably see nidhi in sme romantic position with ashu..than she might confront nidhi & ask who is ashu etc...:) question is will she support ashni or badkofy dadi bua & baba abt her own daughter on being in age gap relation..

For the disco scene to make any sense, I guess Ashutosh and Nidhi will meet up, discuss and decide to move on more firm in their love for each other.

If this Mandira character truly makes an appearance then i want her to land up with her hubby and let Baba see for himself how happy she is with him despite the age gap... he needs to recognise that love conquers all.. though that still might be a problem cos we're talking abt Indian society here...
