Different shades of love...

Love has so many shades and KTLK shows at least 3 of them in various lights. My analysis:

👎🏼 Mallu's love for Ashu: is sadly no love at all! It is love that stems out of familiarity (12 years), comfort and convenience. She has been friends with him for 12 years and she wants it to transgress into love, but Ashu feels otherwise. He values her friendship but she isn't content to accept that. Instead, she goes out of her way to make him feel miserable about his affinity for Nidhi. What kind of lover or even friend would do that? 😡 Knowing that her friend is happier in the company of another, she still pursues him with a doggedness and obstinacy that is on borderline psychosis. She would rather see him miserable and with her than see him happy with Nidhi. She clings to him cloyingly not understanding that in the process she is actually only inviting his repulsion. If she cannot have him, then no one shall..😡 a dog in the manger attitude. It is the most selfish kind of love there is, if you can even call it love.😡 She allows Suhasini to brainwash her over and over because she secretly wants it too. Even her supposed remorse at her actions seems to arise from self-pity, her whole act of I'm a good person, I've never wished anyone any harm, symbolizes her obsession with herself, she is seeking reassurance on her character from her brother, the one person who loves her, who will obviously never tell her the truth of her ugly actions. She doesn't see herself as being disloyal to Ashu as a friend, she only wants to do what is best FOR HERSELF!!

Nidhi's love for Ashu personifies all that is beautiful about love.😊 Innocence, purity and freshness. She's in the throes of love and she is carefree, confident and happy. She's euphoric and she wants the whole world to be euphoric.😃 She is basking in the warmth of love and she's content to just do that. She doesn't stop to consider implications, repercussions, practicalities, because for her love is very simple. She loves Ashu, Ashu makes her happy, and she is happy doing things for him and making him happy. She doesn't even think about whether he loves her back until Anji shakes her into it. Only when Ashu dismisses her and she's hurting badly does she face the pain of unrequited love as she thinks it is. Even then she is sensible enough to understand that love cannot be forced, it has to be felt naturally. She is facing two rejections from Ashu, one, his rejection of her love and two, his rejection of her professionalism. 😭She knows she can do nothing about the former, so she takes up the cudgels on the latter. I'm sure that some of her righteous anger about his callous treatment is also a way to turn her sadness about not being loved by her man into something more aggressive

Ashu's love for Nidhi is the highest kind, the most evolved, transcending the ordinary, the mundane and reaching the divine. He knows he is powerless against what he feels and he also accepts its hopelessness. He lets go of his love for the greater good. His love speaks of honour, sacrifice and selflessness, all the definition of love on a higher plane.👏 He loves Nidhi and hates himself for it because he sees it as morally wrong. He thinks he would be robbing her of her youth, her carefree spirit. But what makes his sacrifice greater is that he knows Nidhi loves him back and one gesture from him will have her running into his arms. She can be his forever, but he chooses to think of her rather than himself. He chooses to push her away so that she may not have to face pain and scorn and ridicule later, so that she doesn't hurt her family and friends. To be with him, she would have to forgo everything and everybody else. He chooses to see anger and hatred for him in the eyes of his beloved rather than face a life with him that would be difficult and ugly because of social pressures. HE chooses a lifetime of pain, heartache and misery so that his love may be at peace and happy. It's true what they say "If you love someone, let them go". This is true love of the noblest kind, the kind that connects a human being to divinity. What a privilege to be loved by a man like this!!!👏⭐️⭐️

Sorry, the post is so long, but I would love your comments..
