I have watched both, and the 2 shows are different as night and day.If KTLK has failed or not,I don't know.I can only say that I stopped watching and commenting on this show.If at all it has failed,it's most definitely not because it's similar to BALH.

Very true ^

I really fail to see how they can be compared..
and I agree with MB when he says 8 pm was a bad time.
It really was.

I watch both BALH and KTLK and they are not at all similar.
KTLK is a love story of a young girl and a much older man. whereas BALH is the story of two people not in the prime of youth but who are forced by circumstances to get married and later love grows between them. In KTLK both fall in love but the man (Ashutosh) may find it difficult to express his feelings owing to the age difference.

As for the SIL yes I too think that they were not very wise to bring her in. Mallika's schemings can be expected as she has been in love with Ashutosh for 12 long years and would naturally resent a younger girl making a place in Ashu's heart when she could not do so for 12 years. her jealousy is understandable and so also her schemings to get Nidhi thrown out of the hospital can be understood.

How can the two be similar when is a story of love growing after marriage and the other is love blossoming but being resisted because of the fear of how society would view this alliance?

I watch both and like both andI don't care about TRPs and hope the makers and cast also don't give much importance to TRPs and just continue their good work.

I follow both shows closely..

BALH concept is about late marriages where the main protagainsts are going through a phase where they have crossed the time line of marriage interms of teh way the "culture of marriage timeline" is drawn according to our ansesctors ..These theories still hold good even today thats why come what may in the nth centurery also that thought will pass on from generation to generation and pressureize the present generation that shaadi ka time line beetha jaa raha hai u must get married..

Its a norm which is being focused and once two indivduals get married taking the arranged marriage samjthutha way the next step is compatibility and adjustment and falling in love..

Thats BALH..

Now coming to KTLK.. the conecept is about the main protaganist falling in love who are of different genre and the age gap is almost that of a generation OK not actually of a generation but yes now a days when you see people of teh same age group falling in love its fine and its natrual but when you see two people who have an age gap of 15 years or 20 years and falling in love its a big talk of teh town and it will be for a while and thats when the Kuch talk will dwell in the log and they will speak the kahengay,...

So they are completely different , But yes I am not too happy with the way they dealt with Nidhi's side of falling in love a totally drill bit of forcefully making her feel that she is in love with Dr. Ashutosh, The depth totally lacks there and maybe I had a higher expectatition to see how the female protaganists would feel teh depth of this relastionship in terms of understandong how she could feel even if its the first time, and being at an age of 24 I guess a little bit of maturity can be shown and also the field she has taken ,...

I am going to hope that the track of Dr. Ashutosh falling in love would be convincing , since this concept of older man and younger women can be shown well, and with depth of the concept it deals with , so I am hope I can see something along the lines where Ashutohs's side will be more beleievable..

Comming to Mallika , her character of being possessive and the rant of barah saal baad seems terribly pushed in and her SIL is adding unnecessary fuel to the fire, Mallika's character needs some reformation Ruksaar is a good actress I hope they do justice...

My two cents

I totally blame the reporter and the way the people who watched the show and gave the review to the reporter has blurted these aspects being similar
There is no similarity between the two shows

They are pushing the shows to being similar with the way the prior has been on teh charts and why KTLK is not hitting the charts,

Well to hit the charts the show has great potential i.e KTLK , but again the way the characters have been executed with the script may lack some forte.. and moreover, the society needs to watch KTLK and realize that such cases can persist...

I am sure SONY has changed its idilogies about rushing in on teh charts, Most SP shows have the same saga... PEOPLE need to watch SONY shows, I like Saas Bina Sasural light heardted true concept and enjoyable...

Fiction on SONY has caught up but teh masses need to watch .. I am not saying masses are watching BALH and not KTLK , theree needs to be understanding in the difference in concept and see them as different shows

Huh?? lost its charm 😲 🤪 this is crazy. I think currently, KTLK is one of the best show on TV. everything about this show is perfect!! very very real..

and in no way is this similar to BALH or BV.. Uff these media people need to get their facts right before coming to a conclusion.

KTLK is a beautiful show, the actors are amazing...everyone from Dr.Ashutosh to Chotte sarkar do complete justice to their characters. Love the storyline. I watch this show every day and I do not watch BALH everyday. Their is no similarity between the two shows. If anyone thinks these two shows are similar then I guess all dramas are similar to a lot of other dramas.
