Intership has to be shown vigiours which lacks here.
I hope teh creatives put aside this Nidhi fantastizing Ashutosh for a while and focus on a person who got 14th rank to join a wel renowed hospital ..

I want to see all the dimesions a doctor handles when in the phase of intership and the last should be thinking of love which yes is teh forte of the show with the so called romance between the protoganists of different age genre ...

But viewers need to also see the areas which need focus with the way the elements play the part as being a doctor which is a BIG responsibility

Now after Nidhi has joined the hospital back I have hopes to see focus in the area of her carrer also being a little strong tackling with getting to make Mallika know how to keep aside professional and personal fronts and do her duty also deligently...

Somewhere this rush rush to show Ashutosh and Nidhi falling in love keeping inmind teh duration of the serial is not gelling well with audiences who have seen or have knowlegde of understanding shows like this and the way romance is taking his dimensions
..

MB is doing a fine job , but the romance with his character and the female protagonist needs good execution and the depth should be convincing otherwise a BIG set back

well said. i want to say what u have said. agreed with u. u can't see any depth in nidhi's character as well they didn't show ashu's pain in a proper way. he once told mallika that he can't be in love with anyone and also not been able to enter any one in his world then how quickly he allow nidhi to enter his world. they should have shown ashu's change in nature in different manner where u feel his pain for not allowing any one or not having trust in relationship.

Angie is two sides of a coin

She feels Nidhi is rushing with her emotions or she is pouring thoughts in her mind which ma be natural but still culd be slowed down or its purely her concern

and the otherside is she is calm and content with her life and taking each day as it comes..

But yeah I see her drilling those thoughts on Nidhi who is hyper when it comes to balancing emotions with reality with thoughts and a little muffled up ...

Now whether the show slows down a bit with these aspects is to be seen hope we get the journey to our expectations as viwers who see the momentum of such concepts shown in reel life

Valid point
MB can show a lot of depth in showing pain and feeling betrayed , or that he was broken hearted,
But it seems teh CV's are just pushing scenarios on need bases, but they forget that viewers notice that and will trace back to know the flow of such emtions...

The change in his character to suddenly mellow down is a little rushed with the way he started of , or to say pushed against the wall with change of scipt dynamics, the flow seemed cut play cut types and its obvious and areas which need focus are they pushed aside to give room to others is what a observer will think...

If he was in love or had feelings of anyone is not known trust in relastionship is it only with the way his baba gave away the house to some unknown person , and where does love fall here interms of a relationship with a women and the reason he never wished to fall in love ,..

So these aspects have been coined but will they be executed to understand the complexity of this man will they show all that is a BIG question

Agree with almost each and every one of you here !!

The characters are not being written with too much of depth in them ! AT an early stage of the show, they are trying to keep the pace of the show quite fast and in the mean time, they are making people react to every situation quite instantly unlike what happens in reality ! Specially, the character of Nidhi is being depicted too child-like !! I mean, I agree she is immature to a large extent, but still, behaving so crazily and openly would not be a very normal thing for someone like her !! I dont think its Kritika's fault.. her acting has got no flaws as such.. Its more of the creatives mistake in developing the character ! Comparing the show with the classic DK would be a wrong thing to do. DK era is gone, and so has the television industry changed largely. For TRPs, the creatives cant always wait long for depicting the gradual attraction between the two leads . So, they are hurrying and ending up with child-like characterisations.

Nevertheless, the show is interesting and I am glad they havnt really got too OTT with the plot yet. Although, Mallika's reactions are way too fast. She realizing the matter with Nidhi and Ashu so soon wont be a very correct move. Her EVIL side could have been avoided for now. There was still time for that . They have to slow down a bit, and i guess for that they will have to gradually bring in more side tracks !! Lets see whats in store.. 😊

I completely agree rpmenon. I watched the entire DK on Wednesday, Thanks to youtube and the person who uploaded.

It has such depth and the characters acted flawlessly emoting so well.
Zoya's character was also young, but she didnt jump around like Nidhi. There seems to be a disconnect in what Nidhi does sometimes. When she sees Dr. A she acts composed (at times). The loud non stop talking can be slowed down.

I didnt want to write anything about DK or KTLK. People say dont compare, but its hard not to. Only people who have watched the original can feel about Ahmer/Zoya, the dialogues and value a doctor brings to the world.

The two soaps are made at times,2011 & 1980's Ahmer/Zoya. So the new script needs to be adapted, i understand. But to make a difference in the current serial world, they could have kept a calm, composed mature Nidhi. It will make the serial stand out from the rest. BALH mein sometimes Priya yells, it is irritating.

The jokes that Dr. A cracks or laughs at are just so silly. Dr. Irfan's jokes were awesome. I dont understand much urdu but it was so funny.
Dont see any of it in KTLH. They have matched the motuness of Solanki to Daddy, wit of babas and loudness of dadi bua & faseelat.

Sorry for long post. rpmenon caught all of my thoughts too. Well said!
