Having said that... ...KTLK did hold a lot of promise for me.. being an ADAPTATION of DK... n i too like u.. was starry eyed to see .. how Rajan Shahi n team adapt to DK... but yes.. the DK purist in me is completely disappointed ...!! Nidhi returning to her profession for the sake of Ashutosh trivialises the whole thing n not just the nobleness of the profession..! The love story is moving too fast.. considering the show is targetted for 200-250 epis... n the parallel tracks are not as much properly developed as required!

Coming to the segments u have referred... the wedding track was brought in purely to make the show.. 'VIEWER FRIENDLY' as shared by MB himself..!! The accident track right now is brought in for MB as he is not well.. so lets discount that..!

I believe firmly that RS has taken the central theme of the show DK.. 'age gap romance between doctors' and given it a TODAYS makeover...! Whether it is good or bad.. its for an individual to decide..!! For me... MBs Ashutosh is Sweet.. Approchable yet Reserved... Rahat Kazmis Ahmer was Classy and Serious...!! Krtiz .. Nidhi is bubbly, cute, OTT... more of a child woman... while Marinas ...Zoya is Stylish and charming...!! I wuldn wanna compare them.. n i wuld suggest others not to..!!

I love AshNi... n i love KTLK... n shall continue to..!! As for DK... once a classic... always a classic!

Angie is a modern version of the innocent and darpok Angie we saw in DK. This is like a modern version of DK. 😊 I can convince myself with this Shreya,like I said,I would have loved it if this had been completely devoid of any connection with DK.But I guess I am a DK fanatic,so every scene,takes me back to DK unknowingly. I love Angie,Ishiita's Angie.She is the mirror any individual would be blessed to have.

I would not have liked it if the writers did not put any of their vision or creativity into what they were remaking.Hmmm..not sure abt that though.. Either they show completely different scenes,or if they take the exact scenes,show in the same sequence,because the emotions Zoya/Nidhi feels in those scenes are quite different. Its like you know what happens in the end of a novel and are still reading the book. 😕 So the new scenes, the new twist like Nidhi unsure of what it is between them unlike what it was with Dr Zoya is fine with me. I wish there were more scenes between them so that we could relate with her feelings, though.

Yes, I'd have loved too if Dr Nidhi resumes the hospital for the passion that she has for her profession and not bcuz she wanted to make sure of her feelings alongwith it. From what I have gathered, Nidhi is no where like Zoya.. Nidhi wants to spend her hubby's money and clearly has no ambition in life. Dr Ashutosh is still somewhere close to Ahmer I feel. Bang on.I was so disappointed after the promo that said Ashutosh holds Nidhi's hands.It was sooo not like him to do that if he did that with romantic feelings,and that's the idea I got after reading the promos.Thankfully,it was just a hand shake,and I am fine with that.As you soo rightly mentioned,Ashutosh is much closer to Ahmer than Nidhi to Zoya.Nidhi is nothing like Zoya.That's why I had this trouble liking her character in the beginning.She just opted out of the profession at the drop of a hat,and now that she is in love with Ashutosh,she wants to join back.I would say that she is pampered spoilt by her Baba.

Hoping we get Ashu's side of falling in love though their work. This is what I want to see.Both of them serious in their profession,and let him first start respecting her,and then love.That would be a delight to watch.😊 And with depth!

😆Nope,I didn 't.It was a delight reading all the comments.Actually,I know I am being a little prejudiced here,i should just enjoy the love story,but what to do,I have seen DK like a million times,and I love that song "Raat yun Dil main tere..." Such a beautiful classic!
