Thoughts on Oct. 10th

Good episode...It's interesting how they are changing the order of some things around and adding some interesting touches compared to the original storyline in DK.


Small touches like Ashutosh pausing to glance at his coat for a moment before picking it up and leaving.

Then he lands back at his favorite night-time stalking spot😆...I'm not sure if Ahmer landed up at Baba's house EVERYDAY...Ashutosh is bordering on the stalkerish side in this case😆...the FB was alright...I still am not really feeling the connect to Baba-Ashu scenes cuz I get the sense of them trying too hard to project poignancy...they need more subtlety. On another note, HAHK was on TV the other night and I realized that MB-Alok Nath played father-son in that too😆...and look how much time has passed since...


Finally moving to the injection fiasco...so in the 'modern' version, Nidhi goes to a disco instead of to a party like Zoya did...and the 'wash your face' dialogue comes later than it did in the case of Ahmer-Zoya...but Ashutosh totally rips into her when he scolds her in the cabin...the "you're PATHETIC" line was delivered brilliantly by MB👏...and it ends up ringing in Nidhi's mind the most for a reason too...time to wake up to some harsh truths about the profession she is in and the responsibility that comes with it.


Interesting touch they added in was Malika's talk with Nidhi outside the cabin...don't think that was there in the original...so this time Malika is sympathetic towards her and actually advises her to take Ashu's scolding positively...they're managing to balance out the greys in her well so far...let's hope that lasts later on in the series too.

And I liked the scene with Nidhi washing her face as Ashu's words ring in her mind...KK did a very good job there.

i really liked today's episode
the way whole this part of child getting ill was handled that lift up from DP...they handled with full care...
they added detailing of mallika & nidhi's scene it reflected nice part of mallika's the way she made nidhi understand the profession is like that which needs us all time...

highlight of the episode was nidhi's & ashutosh scene...
mohnish behl did supers job with all diagalues my favorite part was wash off ur face in DP it was in starting here they added in the end was interesting part...the way he said marvel 👏
end part nidhi washing face was in detail which i wanted to c was very simple & yet it had effect that can be seen how nidhi got effected by dr ashutosh's.

yeah i'm liked today baba & ashutosh flashback specs one was nice slowly slowly they r little bit getting sinked...

Epi dekh kar I didn't even register much of that flashback..cos that one solid yelling session by Ashutosh was awesome!

But yea I agree they are trying for the poignant feel...like him standing holding on the bars of the gate...like his good times with his Baba have been locked in there and he isn't being allowed access to re-live them..

@cabin scene.. Loved MB there...everything was great..how he is at first sitting in his chair asking her those questions..then stands up and shooting those remarks..also the way he sarcastically laughs and then scolds her some more. And the wash your face bit...liked how he turns around and says that..

I also liked that telephone convo with Anjie...shows that Anjie did worry about her friend, and how she innocently says ki I'll talk to the doc...until she realizes that the situation is really bad..

@Nidhi washing away the make up...nicely acted by KK...and even when she talks to Anjie...she uses all the same words...ghairzimedaari, murder by negligence...it shows that his words really got to her..and will of course now help her make her decision to continue working in the hospital or not..

@Mallika..quite surprising to see her advising Nidhi to look at things positively..considering the fact that she found out about Shahenshah and attended to him...it seems like Ashutosh's comments on Nidhi to Mallika the other day has made her see things differently...and she had to be the considerate of the 2 senior docs at least...if one scolds the other should at least help recover..

Good analysis...really liked the way Ashutosh scolded nidhi in the cabin and at the end told her to wash her face...thhe way he just said it was too good.Also liked the wash room bit when Nidhi washing her face and Ashutosh's words were ringing in her ears and the way she was crying I just couldn't hold my tears back too.Kritika did a fab job there in portraying Nidhi's realization of how irresponsible she has been and the way guilt was eating away at her.The whole scene seemed so realistic and not like overacting.

Loved the way ashutosh reprimanded her. KK did an awesome job too; the way she stood before a fuming ash with guilt pangs on her face.

MB excels as usual is uttering 'single word' dialogues like' ridiculous', 'finished?" and 'pathetic'😆

So are we going to see ashu visiting this house every other day?? why cant he have flash backs at his present home too😔

I too liked the scene where she recalls his 'pathetic' and washes her face

so tomorrow we may get the gyan scene and Dr. ashu giving her back her earings which she had left on the bed😛. First spark of love ??

Yeah KK also did a great job in that cabin scene...her guilt was weighing on her so heavily as the tears flowed but yes Ashu's contempt for those tears was bang on as well...both actors delivered.

LOL@ MB excelling at single word dialogues...haha so true.

I'm also waiting to see if they show the earring scene in this case as well...that would be a little too quick to 'fall in lowe' though I feel😕😆...I never quite liked that in DK much either...ah well...let's see how it's handled in this case.

Btw is she even wearing earrings? I didn't notice😆...Zoya's were so big and noticeable...and also I can't recall if Ahmer scolded Zoya like this about telling her to figure out her priorities regarding her profession...Ashutosh seems more serious when he's telling Nidhi all this.

And WORDDD... girl.. WORDDD... those words.. 'Ur .. PAAATHEEETIC..' was so impactful...!! 👏 This is the magic of MB.. the voice modulations.. he does are uhmazing... from the cute-sarcastic.. Doc A of Friday ...to the outrightly furious Doc A of today... he jus mixes n matches them all so well..!! 👍🏼

The tearing down of Nidhi.. was so very well executed.. i felt the reverberations jus as much as Nidhi ... while she was washing her face...!! Great job MB!! 👏

Btw.. the flashback bit of the mismatched socks...was kinda cute.. ! M happy that the flashbacks of Ashu-Baba are getting better... coz i usually find myself feeling a bit disconnected with them. .but today.. was kinda ok!!

Yeah the mismatched socks bit was cute but I feel overall the scene did have a sense of trying too hard...the original mismatched socks scene in DK was cuter...I just adored Baba-Ahmer in DK...

But yeah Mallika was again the surprise package today...Rukhsar did a very nice job with this soft and wise side to her again...
