nope its Rajesh Shahi...]

d producer of 'Bidaai' N 'YRKKH'

ya i found them boring bt for this 1 d concept n d story seems different n promising plus show in sony channel are li'l far from saas bahu saga..

btw, ur ri8!!! most of d household wives are interested in saas bahu type shows n those shows gain more popularity n trps...bt again if d directors r seeking for trps then why r they trying their hand in something simple n delicate as DK...they knoe its not for all n targeted to few interested viewers seeking for a different n unique taste...

i think they will axe d show soon if it lacks in trps bt changing d concept n making it more dramatic doesnt help d plot n story in this case...

Amen to that! 😆😆😆
Although I dont know how Rajan Shahi is in his story telling abilities...

We never know...A DK can also be spinned into a saas Bahu saga...after all both wuld marry finally..and where there is possibility of marriage, there is a huge possibility of seeping the saas bahu saga...😆😆😆😆😆
frankly, I think that producers want to break the trend set by ekta...If theyw anna beat her they have to start a new game...not compete with her in her game...and thats when they start new ideas but fail...
One thing that you have mentioned is very vital...Sony is really trying lot of experiments and dragging itself away from saas bahu...You and I like it, but it has cost Sony a lot...Even shows from YRF couldnt stand the heat and the wives of the house wrote their shows off...They were not interested in 2 people trying their hands on match making, or the saga of a fatso loosing her virginity to a casanova or 7 super human beings saving the earth...They want the shows to reach their households, talk their language...
The day Sony moved away from this trend, it lost its #1 position...Its BALH that is reviving it...and believe me The saas bahu saga seed has been sown in BALH also...Niharika Vs Priya very soon!!!...

although I love DK, it did have some drawbacks. The love story started abruptly . Even the end was hurriedly done (my pov)
The dialogues between ahmer & his baba were poignant & thought-evoking while Dr.Irfan had some of the most hilarious and poetic lines in the show! But there weren't much interactions between the protagonists . MAy be coz it was a weekend show.
But in KTLK, we can expect the two taking their own time to fall in love; more scenes together for eg- nidhi taking care of a sick Ashutosh ( in DK, she visits him , gives a bouquet & goes away after 10 minutes conversation) or her father's birthday ( one can never forget zoya's face glowing behind the candles on the cake while ahmer looks at her mesmerized😍
When u think about it, there are many scenes in Dk that leaves u yearning for more to watch between the two

Well, we are so used to the elongation of a script in todays TV genre that we have actually forgotten the story telling skills of a 13 episode show...There was an Indian show called Kashish, 13 episode intense love story...One of the best Indian shows in my mind and their LS also started abruptly because thats how the 13 episode shows are...
but you make a very good point...The daily show, if taken sensitively, can be a great forum to potray an evolving love...Each episode can be a small step towards the eventual pristine love...Take us through the journey, make us fall in love the way the protaganist will fall in love...that is the way we would connect to them completely...and then the writers can also meet the challenge of converting a 13 episode into a 200+ episode show...I saw this delicate nuance only in one show - LTL...The love story took its time to fully blow...The protaganist took hos time to fall in love because it was true love, beyond the physical silhouettes...and that is what touched us the most...every episode became spl becauae every episode was an essential step to their love...We fell in love with them...well, I can go on and on about th show, but I hope we see that here!!!...
I agree the end was very abrupt, I guess because the PH was strict about covering it in 13 episodes...
and yes, excellent point..I agree...If the writer has to make the best of DK script, the scenes u have mentioned can be made v v spl...Oh god!! u have reminded me of tht show again vividly...I have to go and watch it again!! 😳😳😳

I had a crush on sudesh berry when I used to watch kashish😆
Another DD show I loved was Farmaan. Ofcourse one cannot forget udaan, circus, fauji ..
how we used to wait for a week to watch them😊
these daily soaps have a tendancy to drag a plot for ever; I hope that doesnt happen with KTLK

DD: You here! 🤗Me toh waiting for this show for Mohnish Behl. I think Rajan Shahi has the sensitivity to handle a subject like this. I liked the way he handled the Ranvir-Ragini love story in Bidaai. I think he is basically a director and artist at heart before being a producer. I just how Kritika is able to match up. But she is fine in the promos.
