It had been one week since nidhi had started her internship at the hospital! Her repeated attempts to offend DR. Ashutosh and force him to kick her out of the institution had proved unfruitful!😆
Slowly she had begun to give up hope of ever escaping from the place! ⭐️
Walking along the corridors of the hospital nidhi was out to do her first night duty!...and that too under the man who could easily LET HER GO FROM THERE but didn't let her...ending up proving her biggest Foe! Dr. Ashutosh! And Nidhi had actually begun to hate him for the fact that he COULD but HE WASN'T LETTING HER BAIL out of the hospital and medical profession! 😆😆😆😆
Tired she makes her way to the canteen to grab something before the evening rounds begin……..she knew she hated the whole idea of being there for one year in the torturous place…….what she didn't know was that soon she was going to witness her worst fear!...
Just as she is about to order snacks for herself the speaker in the canteen blares out calling out her name! She had been called to the OT urgently…..Cribbing she makes her way to the operation theatre---Apney paas hii khaney kaa time nahin hoga toh zinda reh kar doosrey patients kii JAAN kaisey bachaaongi?!...Damn! Dr. Ashutosh………I hate u!...😛⭐️⭐️😳😳
Reaching the OT she finds a young man and a girl being wheeled in…….they were injured badly and there was blood every where around!...seeing it all…nidhi found it hard to breath! Gathering her wits she makes her way inside where she find Dr. Ashutosh was busy washing for the emergency surgery….
Seeing a dazed nidhi walk upto him he says---accident case hai…..the girl is stable….lekin uss ladkey ko zyada chot lagi hai…we have to operate upon him now …..the sisters are making everything ready……u too clean up quickly!😕
Nodding her head nidhi quickly washes her hand and next u see her standing next to Ashutosh helping him with the surgery….
Shaking away all bad thoughts from her mind and forgetting how much she hated the whole being Doctor thing….Niddhi helps ashutosh with swift responses to his commands….
Every now and then she keeps on stealing glances at the monitor to check the patient's vitals……just as she looks away from it she hears the anaesthesist say---sir his pulse is dropping!
Ashutosh quickly looks at the monitor and finds the BP going low too……the next moment the ECG became a Flat line….and nidhi could feel her heart sink as she stared at the lifeless patient on the table!😲
Her hands begin to tremble as the thought strikes her….as to how would the guy's family face the loss and how would they tell him ABOUT HIS DEATH IN THE FIRST PLACE!...This is what Nidhi feared most about being a doctor! She had never faced DEATH….she had lost her mother when she was very young and now as she stood next Ashutosh and the the other doctor try to resuscitate the patient but in vain while a shocked nidhi just stood staring at the man's face she felt numb!
Tears had begun to stream down her face as she saw Dr. Ashutosh move his head sideways and begin to take off his gloves…indicating that his attempts to revive the patient were futile!
Walking to the wash basin he washed his hands while Nidhi just stood there staring at the nurses and doctor closing down the monitor and preparing to pack up the dead man!
The sister tells her –doctor….jaaiye aap change kar leejiye………
Shaken…..she walks upto the basin and just stands hearing the water pour as Dr. Ashutosh washed up and removed his mask…….😕
He looks up at nidhi and finds her lost in her own world……
But what caught his attention were the tears streaming down her face as she slowly removed the mask that covered it up!😭😭
All this while he had only seen nidhi smile and laugh around!😊😊
He had always seen her fooling around with patients ……be it young or old…….she had the art of making them smile even in their pain! But today….seeing the same girl cry…….made Ahustosh feel something strange for her…….not knowing why…….But he CERTAINLY COULDn't SEE TEARS IN HER EYEs!😳
