I know Shaheer has a reputation for always being in the good books of all producers, I hope and pray that he makes a statement 🙏🙏🙏

Now's the time to say something, especially after Erica's post. He's the one that spoke about the show consistently bringing positivity and I hope he makes at least one statement about how negative it became. Please shaheer 🙏

I actually agree with you. If Kuch Rang ever meant something to him, I think now is the time to back up Erica and make a statement.

Although, like you said I’m quite skeptical about it since he’s always been a bit diplomatic and cordial with production houses.

His character was butchered the most, I really want him to make a statement

don’t get me wrong, I love Shaheer and had a huge crush on him; but I didn’t feel like he was giving his all this season. I could be wrong here, but I couldn’t feel that intensity of his acting.

I agree completely! I love Shaheer and think he's a fabulous actor, but it was clear that his heart wasn't in it this season. Even in the early interviews he talks about having some trouble getting back into the skin of Dev, and omce the show started we all saw why there was that trouble

See maybe because Dev wasn’t Dev this season, but neither was Elena, or Vicky. Neither was Sonakshi and honestly neither was Ishwari like her old self. Yet, I do feel like those actors tried giving their 100%. With Shaheer it just didn’t fit, I don’t know why. Maybe of course with his newborn and newly married life you just get occupied with different things, but idk I just wasn’t feeling it. He’s given FANTASTIC performances in S1 & even S2. This season was baddddd.

I feel like it's because with season 3, there was nothing to show. None of the characters were the same, but at least the other characters had some vague direction. Dev has hd that same clueless expression from episode 1.

Shaheer is a master of his craft, and given the space and material, he can make magic. In season 1, he had that. Season 1 Dev was so beautifully complicated, a product of circumstances, a hard working businessman, a doting big brother, a baby to his mother, and someone that fell so completely and irrevocably in love. We really grew with him in season 1, we felt him open up slowly, experience love and all the joys that come with it. We saw Mr. Obhodro laugh for the first time, we saw him completely in awe of Sonakshi's strong values and character the same way we were in awe of her. We saw him ruthlessly wrecking people's careers, and while we didn't agree, we understood.

Dev was a such a layered, complex amazingly written character, that Shaheer had so much space to make it his own, Dev 3.0 is a confused clueless joke. He just walks around stupidly without reacting to any situation, how can we expect shaheer to add anything to a character that is so hollow?

It would be nice if Shaheer supports her they made a great team in previous seasons onscreen as devakshi and offscreen as friends.

Erica used to stand up for him for stuff that happened on set

I am glad Erica mentioned about the bad story. the production must be mad though

He is not obligated to do anything just coz Erica has done it. As someone said here he has more than 10 years of experience in ITV...so he must be used to it by now.

Speaking up is a choice as well as not speaking up. We should not force either of the options on anyone.

Yeah, I understand that... He doesn't generally say anything, but none of his shows have ended in drama like this either. I just feel like it would be nice if he made a statement
