Jatin is her best friend, they have been best friends since they were 2 years old. Jatin has been with her through thick and thin, especially during the 7 year separation from Dev. He was there during her pregnancy and delivery. He helped her set up her company and is her business partner as well. So she shares a lot with him. He is a calm and stable presence in her life.
Sona is having some insecurity issues regarding her relationship with Dev. Dev loves her a lot, but she feels he is not as aware of her feelings as he used to be. This has been exacerbated by Dev's absence when her mother Asha died. Dev didn't realize that Sona was angry that he wasn't there at that time. This distance just worsened.
They are seeing a marriage counselor and are doing better with communicating their feelings to each other now. Dev realized her anger and felt terribly guilty about it and now is determined to make sure that they don't have any communication gaps. He makes Sona promise that she won't keep anything in her heart.
Sona does ask Dev about Sanjana, she was feeling very weird about the girl. Dev makes fun of the fact that she felt jealous, and explains that she is a new employee. Sona felt somewhat silly about it, doubting him with some girl.
But the uncomfortable feeling about Sanjana has lingered with Sona and she isn't able to pinpoint a particular reason. Elena's comments are making it worse in her head. She is torn about placing significance on this feeling or not, so she didn't tell anything again to Dev.
She is at that point where she should be telling Dev about her apprehensions regarding Sanjana. She is definitely not doubting him, she knows very well that he loves her more than anything. But she has an insecurity, a fear that because they are at a tender stage in their relationship, someone like Sanjana may take advantage of this. So, hopefully the next counseling session will involve Sona addressing some of her issues regarding Sanjana.
