Dev and Sonakshi's characters have been completely changed and I absolutely cannot relate to this show or to these characters anymore. Had this been a totally new show, I think I was okay in accepting these as new characters. But there was S1 and S2 of this show where the characters were very well established. Dev was the lonelier person, the lost person who was looking for someone to make his life complete. While Sona also loved Dev, she was always very secure and was really never the needy one.

Sonakshi has never ever been this insecure as they are showing her currently and Dev has never ever been this approachable by outsiders. He never even had male friends forget about female friends and who has the guts to call the CEO of the company any time you want. Like why is Dev getting so involved in her life..What are they trying to show - that he is really attracted to her? I just don't get it.

So finally bidding goodbye to the show- a show I once really loved! what a mess they made out of it!!

Their characters this season are caricaturish at best. When the writers don't care about any continuity they don't even bother to do a basic character sketch. The basic traits of Dev were being a loner but extremely caring who valued family above all else. This Dev walks around dazed. This one is anything but that.

Sonakshi not being needy was shown as a legit concern for Dev last season. Now suddenly she is insecure about this serendipity Dev has known for a total of 5 days. At least show Natasha or someone, would have still made some sense. Too much of an expectation from the writers who probably write the script a night before the shoot.

Sona's insecurity some what ok. Bcoz sona feels she is not important to dev as he never prioritise her. She is just giving in n keep saying sorry bcoz she fears he may go far away from her. Now she just cannot b herself as she has no confidence in dev. Also even in counselling Dr. Suggested smallest gap will allow 3rd leg to enter. So..to some extent it is ok to behave that way.

But how she comes out of this insecurity, that cvs will never give proper solution. They will just show she is ok in one morning 😆.

Dev has a weird pecking order, Mom first and then the rest. Usmain bhi Sona is constantly pushed under a 10 day employee .

Already their marriage is too crowded with Ishwari in it, Sanjana wants to be the fourth wheel. The gap mentioned also needs to be filled by Sona because Dev, the righteous guy doesn't even realize koi gap hai. These lovey-dovey solutions are what Sona seems to be looking for too, as she wakes up with amnesia having forgotten what ails the relationship.
Stuffing her mouth with food is still a better way than crying over something. This show should gracefully shut shop, all this drama and sautan cannot be pulled off in this show.
