I sincerely want to know how tf can I get this job? The people that are supposed to be doing this job, clearly aren't. It's like they have no semblance of understanding of the characters. Why the unnecessary whitewashing?

First of all the video of Asha and Dev. It makes no sense that that video even exists, who would have filmed it? How would Dev even have had it? And how tacky to have him send it to Sona. What was the purpose of that?

It would've been so impactful if they showed it as a memory that Dev had, him recalling fond times with Asha, exploring his guilt for not having been there, him thinking of her place in his life, his memories with his Asha maa. Instead of saying "main unhe bohot maanta tha", why would the writers not show us that like it a sweet memory? That is how I would put it if I were a screenwriter.

Dev's main issue is that he is BEYOND oblivious. Who is even so blind to such basic things? To me, the lack of guilt that he wasn't there when his mother in law- someone he genuinely loved and admired and had a relationship with passed away, is worse than his absence. "I didn't think/know this was an issue" is SO much worse in my opinion. Like if you don't think it's a problem, what is even left in this relationship?

"Main Sonakshi ko convince karke rahunga ki main uski family ko utna hi maanta hoon jitna maa ko" Is that even the truth? Joker.

The counsellor also has concluded that this is the problem, him not being there for Asha's death. However this isn't the problem, but an instance of another time Sonakshi has needed his support and he hasn't been there for her. The problem is that the man is so oblivious to his surroundings, it's like he has no clue about anything going on in his own life.

Also every time he lists the things he's done, like "bachon ko samhala ghar pe rehke, tumhare ghar pe aake raha, etc etc" I want Sonakshi to explicitly say "So? I also stayed home and watched the kids the first 6 months after Shubh was born, you stayed the next 6 months. I also lived in your house, I still do"

I really hope the counsellor in the next session brings up how Ishwari walked into councelling and essentially said "don't listen to Sonakshi". There *needs* to be a discussion about her interference in their married life and what she thinks about Sonakshi. Dev won't see the facts till it's literally in front of his face.

I have no faith in these writers because they made these characters so senseless, so weak, so stupid. I'm so angry as a fan. Just please hire me Mamta, I swear I'd do a good job

I havent watched from 2 last weeks, just read updates and views here, looks like writter destoryed it beyond control. Dev had full flaws but still loved the character but now S3 character become alian, not able to recongise him expect physically..UFF..what they made it..

Sony had set good standard of content, now its not only let down by makers but channel also..

I remembered, when shaheer put twitter saying i am officially part of saas bahu serial, to which erica supported.. It was during after marriage track..

I wished these actors at least given feedaback to makers, asked them set things right as these 2 are hugely popular, convincing would have not tough task...

I know tv actors say our job is just act as per director, get money and fame is complementry but actors future depends on their current work popularity.. May thats reason most of successful bollywood actors have their PH, they choose everything on themselves than leaving on others...

The video exists just as that Shimla pic exists 🤣

And it wasn't just the kitchen incident. There have been other instances too when Dev and Asha genuinely bonded. I actually loved how cute they were with each other.

I haven't quite bought into the fact that Dev wasn't there during Asha's passing, he didn't think Sona needed him and afterwards didn't think that would bother Sona. Sorry, but that is not Dev. The writers need to understand the man better. He has been wrong on several occasions, terribly wrong,, but not understanding that his wife would need him because her mother died? Nope. I can't exactly connect that man to Dev. Being stunned that this was an issue? I don't even know what to say there.

If Dev of Season 1 (pre-leap) had a character sketch the word Caring would be the number 1 adjective in the list. He cared so much for his driver (to sponsor the wedding), for Sona (when she had the accident he really went above and beyond), for the general well-being of his employees (gave the blood-donors vacation), and his teachers. His love for family is well-established too. Sona fell in love with him because he cared so much for his family and even hers. Now we are to believe that Asha, with whom he shared a relationship, is dying or has recently passed away, and he does not show up? And he does not think it is an issue for Sona?

If Ishwari as much as slips and Sona doesn't rush to her side, Dev would probably file for divorce.

I don't agree with Devs actions or his "redemption" but even to me, this is how you disengage and thoroughly disappoint people who watched your show packaged as unique.

If preleap dev was there, dev himself would hv gone bonker looking at asha's condition. May b he will b sulking n missing her everyday. In s3, he hardly miss her. He takes her name as if someone else..

@tm., I wish you were the writer for this season..

If they were doing it I am sure we wouldn't be having any problem. But currently this track sucks and it's slowly making me lose interest. Now I understand why people say don't get a new season. Mostly it disappoints you to the core.

I agree what are the writers smokin' haan. I will ask for the officials to raid their office. Kuch bhi! Matlab how shallow can Dev be to even send that to Sona. I mean like how? It was nothing but to show his greatness. I mean I am seriously sick of that man now. (Dev and in no ways Shaheer 😍😍)

It would've been so impactful if they showed it as a memory that Dev had, him recalling fond times with Asha, exploring his guilt for not having been there, him thinking of her place in his life, his memories with his Asha maa. Anyone who was not smoking weed would put it like that.

Dev's main issue is that he is BEYOND oblivious. Who is even so blind to such basic things? He is not in this world and the song main hoon hi nahi iss duniya ki suits him even more. How could he not think of this as an issue. I mean if it was his mother would he even leave her and go to a seminar. Rather leave her and go to get a file from office. Like he better stop joking. It is a huge issue and he should apologise for not being there. He shouldn't justify himself like he respected Asha and all. That's not how you justify yourself

"Main Sonakshi ko convince karke rahunga ki main uski family ko utna hi maanta hoon jitna maa ko" Is that even the truth? Joker.

Hahaha 🤣🤣 I laughed a that. Like he is delusional about himself only. How can he even say that. He doesn't even see his children at the same level as Ishwari. 🤣🤣 And Sonakshi's family. Like really the writers want us to believe it 🤣🤣

Yes that's the problem Sonakshi is stuck with a highly delusional man who has no idea how others around him are feeling. He does not give a damn. For him it's his mother, children and office. Sona was right she doesn't even come in his list.

He is a thu! He had realised that he messed up listening to his mom that's why he went and stayed at the Bose's. He didn't want to lose Soha. That's it! He has his priorities right. I didn't know the makers would degrade his characters so bad. He can't even communicate with his wife. Like what is he a manchild?!

I really hope the counsellor in the next session brings up how Ishwari walked into councelling and essentially said "don't listen to Sonakshi". There *needs* to be a discussion about her interference in their married life and what she thinks about Sonakshi. Dev won't see the facts till it's literally in front of his face.

Yeah like what does that woman think of herself haan? And it's because of you there has been and there is problems in Devakshi's relationship. She doesn't even give them time and like "mother india she just wants to sweep in and correct everything. Actually she needs a therapist. Both Dev and Ishwari need to go. Then Sona will feel better.

I have no faith in these writers because they made these characters so senseless, so weak, so stupid. I'm so angry as a fan. Just please hire me Mamta, I swear I'd do a good job
