Today I so loved the episode. They beautifully portrayed sona's feeling. She is connected to dixits only for soha. If soha not there, all relationship hv no meaning to her. This is what I wanted to see. What is soha for sona.

Do u guys think, they will bring up chapter that sona has not forgiven dev for his misdoings? Will dev realise that she is there for only soha sake? I hope cvs show that angle as well.

I didn't watch Pavithra Rishta even I didn't watch the original version in Tamil I don't like that serial

So I got into the show right before Devakshi wedding. I started from ep1 of s1 and FELL IN LOVE! dev was a brilliant character who had flaws (although I felt sona was a little too perfect but I still loved her) leaving all the problematic things like stalking and other things aside, I could feel the immense love he had for sonakshi (thanks to the actor). I was heartbroken when they showed the leap and I knew the show would go downhill from there. Even though I was happy that later on dev and sona reunited...I was so pissed that ishwari AND dev got the easy way out. Like there was NO redemption. And why is it that both dev and ishwari became all happy with sona just because she helped them with that khatri guy? Why does it take a female character to sacrifice something for the hero to side with her? Don't get me wrong. I am all for being there for your family and sona defending dixit house because deep down she still cared for them...my point is why did it take that incident for dixit house to see the good in her? And then, just like that in 10 episodes they were back again together...dev especially never really payed for calling her a gold digger, a family breaker or the fact that he blamed her for her infertility. But since they showed some good romance I was placate.

Then S2 happened and it was great, with an amazing message and some romance. That being said the writing and direction were not the best. But I was happy that the show ended on a happy note since all the characters had somewhat become progressed

Then came s3. I was happy when I heard the news... a little sad when I saw the promo (like why are you showing differences again??! But then I realized their USP is that it's a realistic show and romance fizzing is a thing that happens among couples) and DISAPPOINTED BEYOND MEASURE when I saw the episodes... Hell, there was not much character development to begin with and you ruined that too?? Why promise something in the promo and "surprise" us with this whole baby swapping thing? I mean, if I wanted a drama I would watch some other daily soap. And oh! How they have just RUINED devs character!! This guy lost the love of his life TWICE some due to his own fault and some his mother's and HE STILL DOESNT STAND UP TO HER ? I don't even want to get started with ishwari...I mean I liked the fact in pre leap s1 that even though she was annoying af, she was not a full blown vamp and chalo, even if there was no realistic redemption, she still got her heart in the right place and finally accepted sona not just as her DIL but like her own daughter, like a friend. This is an underrated relationship that I loved post leap..especially those deep condos that ish had with sona abt her insecurities and how she got over them. But now she is back to square1? I understand that realistically, every MIL and DIL have issues and see a rough patch but the way s1 and 2 ended it looked like all differences aside she still accepted Sona and loved her. S3 ruined it all. Not to mention, what's up with Dev being all villainy and doing illegal stuff? Imo, that's not a SHADE in his character, that's just plain wrong. He still isn't understanding Sona, and frankly, if everyone keeps blaming her for everything, doesn't see her sacrifices, I will come to the conclusion that she was better off without him.

Sorry for the long rant, I just know that whenever they end the show (I hope they end it soon and don't drag it out), they will show that dev and sona are happy and together with their kids but now the show is ruined for me knowing that these characters don't make any progress and it's always Sona who ends up adjusting.

Ps- I think we can all agree that s3 is just a money grab and definitely is TRP driven otherwise the quality of the content would be better... I don't think I can call it a 'realistic show anymore.

Trust me that's exactly how I felt while watching the first 2-3 episodes. I was completely under shock & literally went into denial that this cannot be 😆I even seriously debated whether to give up watching😆

I have recovered now & continuing just out of curiosity. I don't take it seriously anymore & just trying to amuse myself seeing the unintentional comedy circus. 😆 Watch it & forget it is my mantra now.

After it ends, I will go & re-watch the first season for the 7th time to decontaminate my memories & forget that this season 3 even happened 😆

I hope they do. After all that happened between them, their reconciliation was too quick & too smooth for me to digest. It can very well be shown that she gave Dev & their marriage another chance because of Suhana. She was heavily pressurized by Ishwari & Asha too.

But, I would have serious problems if she decides to leave Dixit house because of Suhana. Shubh is there too. I can understand she still cannot connect to Ayush & doesn't care too much about him right now. But Shubh is her child too & that poor boy doesn't deserve to be abandoned in the middle of these psycho people. Also, Shubh is a boy, another mini Dev in the making, so I doubt Ishwari would let Sonakshi to take him with her. She wouldn't have problems if Sonakshi leaves with Suhana, but Shubh? He is Dixit family's property.

So leaving wouldn't be a solution. The only solution is to show the Maa Beta mirror & give them a reality check. Sonakshi has started trying with the mother, but I am afraid whether she will be successful🤔
