Dev is a very complicated character

It makes him very interesting for me , he has gone to lat of changes during the story .

Bijoy was absolutely right when he was giving Ishu piece of his mind soon after first break up ( sleeping pill drama)

After that many times he faulted

Even when he knew Dev loved Sona so much that he hid the fact Sona couldn’t conceive also , he was angry at Dev!

Dev has a lot of short of comings every human has ,

He has corrected a lot of mistakes and asked sorry too

She too called him in-front of many people “ arrogant , mamma’s boy , egoistic and many other words !

She is a strong woman ...

Now they are grown older in a diff phase of their relationship that is what the story is ... but he is not controlling his mother again slowly becoming that “ Maa & beta “type

Maa is not as bad earlier ( pre leap)

These mother in laws always claiming their bringing up is the best is common , soon Sona should give a right reply , it makes Dev doesn’t matter .

I am at any means not supporting “ man ill treating woman!” or not talking about society in general

What I spoke only for the character Dev

He doesn’t insult women in general

Regarding bijoy, I want someone to open seperate thread and I want to know with his temperament how it affected sona n dev's life. According to me his actions were justified as protective father.

And you are comparing dev's such harsh words to sona's mamma's boy😆.

See, dev is not criminal and he is not complicated too. His mind runs in one track. That is mothers order. Mother said paisa kamao aur ghar chalao. He is absolutely good in that. But he couldn't balance relationship. He couldn't give secured n peaceful life to sona. Many times i thought dev was just had physical attraction to sona.

I am not happy with sona because she is not vocal abt her feeling. When esh was giving bashan give back to her infront of dev n dev might understand her. No need to be silent always n cry inside. And she definitely had better choice but she loved dev so she married him n so she is facing brunt.

And for shub, he stayed at home. But it was his wish as he lost 7 yrs with soha. Now world is changing n I am seeing men also doing all the things which women are doing. So, for me it's not something special he did to sona. If sona stayed back on dev went for work, then sona shd b gr8 is it not? Why we shd be gender biased😆

For me what makes me more interesting is abt character behaviour. How they are behaving. May b these kind of character will b similar in many house. So it's interesting to see when they behave certain ways what problem comes n how they solve it.

Here sha n eri has done phenomenal job. They made character more interesting. I don't think anyone could hv played better than them. They just complement each other.
