Also given his past pattern where he has been linked with all his costars...but with Erica difference is his offscreen persona which they have shown us without asking for it which never happened with pvs costars...Eg: movie date pics, Merc pics ...I never saw his offscreen personal event pics with any of his costars ...( So let's she'd our insecurity)😉...

As far as Erica is concerned she has always come across as very homely committed person who is open to v few ppl...so if she would have been picked up by bd's we wldnt have reacted same as somewhere we trust her more than shaheer given how firm she is & real she is...

Regarding this new show I know production house will go out of way to create chemistry but I feel the comparisons will fail to create tht magic of devakshi as I really feel Erica's aura is equally charming as of shaheer...Not tht I'm against this girl but yes she does come across as a wannabe auditioned actress( typical TV serial actress who I find little ottp looking at her few audition vdo & tu Mera her clip) sorry for this words but I pour my heart out ...I think I like that quality of Erica which Im 100%sure many of us & especially shaheer admire that erica's subtle laid-back attitude, she doesn't come across as a despo...Coming to the point I feel shaheer will become more conscious now after his show get settled &will drop more hints to ommunicatee that he & Eri are together & Slowly will get more positive bombss ...jus my pov but I feel this show will have less relatability factor as against krpk so shaheer wlf be just acting as the. Characters DNT seem to be real , so remember he will just acting like a professional but I find it little difficult to realise if he wld be personally so attachedlike krpk..Remember krpk was special kyunki use kayi sare dost mile...specially Erica mili...remember his I've he never includes her in other friends list...so relaxed shaheer - Eri are drfo together ...hope I didn't offend

Another example is, right after Kis Desh ending, Ekta cast Harshad opposite Anupriya in an intense love story and Harshad-Aditi fans went on a rampage (also because they were shipped off screen like ShaRica) but Ekta obviously dint care. My point is no one cares. Its just money and business for them. I dont think Mamta cares for Shaheer either. She probably likes him and sees business potential in the collab hence the offer. If it flops,she wont give a damn. And I know how fickle this industry is and how most actors wait for years to get work, so I definitely wont wish for either of their shows to fail. They deserve success just for their talent and hardwork. Of course its my remote and TV so I have the option of not watching 😆

In fact I feel he is best in the current lot of actors.

I agree completely on what you have written about Eri too. In fact, the makers cheated us by never trying to show Eri's side of the story especially in the latter part of season one. & the less said about season2 the better. She was completely wasted in that season 2. They could have converted the season two into a beautiful show by showing them both taking equal responsibility of the their kids. There was no need to make Dev more mahaan by making him a househusband. I so wished that they had given equal importance to Sona's character as they did with Dev's. That is why I am in complete agreement to what you have written in the last two sentences.
