You're quite right about every celebrity out there getting hate on IG all the time. I checked a few random celeb accounts as well just to check what a normal comment section usually looks like and looks like most people get hate too for everything unless its a super neutral post with pets or children. Shaheer unfortunately has an ex who is hell bent on tarnishing his reputation in a country where he has no friends that are loyal to him and take up a stand for him to add to the usual bashers that most celeb gets. For example Deepika has all sorts of haters now for Padmavati but has industry friends who praise and support her too so usually celebs have some sort of support system. Shaheer's so called friends can't even be bothered to like his movie trailer. He survives there just on fan support and unless he gets a BW movie, I doubt he'll come back to do a tv show here again. So I guess what affects Shaheer and Erica is not just nameless trolls but actual people who hate them (DB and her supporters-all of Shah's collegues and Otis) who ensure that he will never be supported by them directly due to which it is so hard for Shahrica to announce it to the Indo audiences whose opinion really affects his career. That combined with being apart and him away from his family as well can be the worst possible situation to be in which rubs off on Erica and affects her mood too. So she did what she could and tried blocking out the negativity which was in her control which seems to have had a positive impact on her as far as what we can see :)Originally posted by: MichiganGal
Erica looks stunning in her new IG post. Am shocked she actually reads comments on IG 😆 I know Shaheer does but I was almost certain Erica does not bother with them. I really dont know what to think of it tbh. I really wish they stop reading because instagram is a hell hole in a lot of ways. Its the worst social media out there in terms of the level of negativity you have to encounter. And trust me it is not just Shaheer or Erica. The other day Katrina uploaded a pic on her insta and 90% of the comments were about how she messed her face and looks horrible now. So I dont know what I should feel about both Shaheer and Erica reading through comments. Am surprised it affected her enough to turn off her comments section. And of course we know how Shaheer used to block and/or delete comments (he has stopped doing it off late though so thank god). I know they are human and everyone has a limit up to which they can take things and I used to feel so terrible reading the vicious comments so I can only imagine what they felt. But I really hope they both stop after this and learn to ignore. Insta unfortunately does not take good steps for cyber bullying or bashing and people are free to make multiple accounts and post the worst comments possible. So it is not really going to stop any time soon. Ignoring these vicious fans and being happy and doing well in your life is the best answer you can give them.
