I wonder why no one in the IF main pages writes about Dev Dixit,the most endearing,noble,genuine,honest,caring,intelligent,sensible,respectful,golden hearted,forgiving,patient ...Charecter ever seen on television. I wish I hope I would read something that showcases such a noble soul played by awesome Shaheer.

To say the least I thought they will show RR breaking down before Dev,begging pardon .Leave alone Sonakshi Bose even RR is not made to say sorry to Dev.

So I just feel contented to see a happy Dev playing with his kids.

Don't get me wrong Lakshmi but don't you feel that you are harbouring too many ill feelings for Sona.I mean "Sona who is so ordinary and faulty" is too harsh an assessment isn't it ? There are people who call Dev unacceptable names without even trying to understand him and that's quite sad.However let's not become like them and do a tit for tat.

As far as articles on Dev are concerned, there are so many media portals which write on Dev The most popular media portal Fuze Production publishes maximun articles on Dev.Infact their last article is a 31 page article where the entire story of KRPK has been narrated by Dev...I don't think such an elaborate article has ever been written on any Indian TV character before.

The qualities you listed for Dev have been exhibited by Sona as well on numerous occasions during the course of the show, so it's not that she is some inhuman girl who is out to ruin Dev's happiness.

Keeping Soha away from Dev was a massive mistake and I do hold Sona responsible for that.But a counterargument for that is the fact that Dev too never tried to find out anything.Yes it's true that Sona threw her mangalsutra in the fire and left but even then you would expect Dev to atleast try once on humanitarian grounds.I would feel sympathy even for my maid if she is homeless...here it was his own wife and her old family.Forget Sona and Bijoy; what about Asha and Dida...do they not deserve even an ounce of sympathy ?

So the point is that blunders have been committed from both sides and hence it's impossible to call out one character, be it Dev or be it Sona.

I called Sona ordinary because I never found her extraordinary as the way she is made out to be. She has all the traits good and bad like all of us have. We are ordinary. We have our positives and negatives. Similarly Sonakshi also has both positives and negatives. If we see her in season 1 and 2 she behaved like any normal human being does . But mostly her positives are highlighted by media and fans alike ignoring her minuses.

The articles you mentioned I read about Dev. But mostly I found him at the receiving end despite being so genuine and forthcoming with his flaws. The qualities I wrote for Dev are rarely given their due so I took it on myself to elevate his Charecter in all its glory.

As for ill feeling towards Sonakshi sorry to say it is not tit for tat. From day one of the show I found her faulty and so like any girl of her age. She is just one among us. Not some one out of the world. I don't know whether you followed the forum since the begining but even then I expressed my feelings towards her behaviour in many posts daring the outbursts and criticism of her admirers. Just type" Enough Sonakshi Bose" and you will get my post on Sonakshi during the first break up.

So I am sorry if you think I have ill feelings for her because of the article or my prejudice. I seriously found fault with her from day one.

The incidents you cited during the second break up I think Dev is not the only one to blame. If any one has to be blamed I will first point a finger at Bijoy Bose... It is a separate topic that needs to be discussed elsewhere I think..

So my admiration for Dev is not just because he was played by Shaheer. I honestly connected with him feel for him despite his faults or whatever they are.

I hope you understand what I want to say.

I accepted Sonakshi Bose because Dev Dikshit can not breathe without her.

@itelidevara & @Jenny I might be wrong here but what I have seen is that the Human mind is wired in such a way that mostly it remembers the negative things more than the positives and this holds true both in our professional as well as personal lives. How many times have we not faced situations with our family or friends where because something negative that relationship soured for life.
And this is what precisely has happened with not only Dev & Sonakshi but also with Ishwari & Bijoy. Every character has its own flaws and positives but unfortunately the flaws hide those positives. Probably that's what is the beauty of the show where each character is flawed yet they accept each other so as to create a flawless relationship.

Just my POV, no offence.

I share the same sentiments as @sp12 and would just accept whatever comes my way.
I'll be content with anything which has Dev-Sona-Soha/Shubh in one frame.

Indeed it would be an herculean task to incorporate so much in 30 episodes. However, trust me when I say this, even consolidating the list was somewhat of a herculean task to me. 😆 In spite of that, I love the energy all of us are radiating at our show's comeback and it shows in the wishes we are making. We ultimately have to and would accept happily what the makers finally show us.

But there's no harm in making some innocent wishes..😉

Dev is always main attraction of the story from beginning I think makers already know how much we love him

Dev had actually said sorry even to RR, (though it was mainly to maintain peace in the family) . I understand your sentiments. I hope they listen at least this one wish. Updated!
