Still to come to terms with the show ending abruptly without allowing to get a proper closure. Even while watching it the fact that it would be no more is nailing in a corner of my heart.

But forgot the pain on seeing Vikky's game finished . Laughed with glee. What does he think ? That Dev is a fool not to sense his trick to deprive him,of Soha's special moment? RadhaRani 's Ladla forgot he is dealing with the Dev Dixit who could outsmart his opponents with his quick thinking and timely decisions.

Felt so relieved to see Sonakshi say sorry Dev.. Kaan taras gaya.. Good for her. She should feel proud for Dev's instinct and right thinking. Buddha in his eightfold path stresses on right thinking. If that is done no one can stop a person to reach his goal. Dev did just that. He was able to think properly despite Vikky's umpteen attempts to prove himself reformed.

Nice to see Soha back with her father dearest. I know children will forget easily. Soha turned towards Dev the moment she saw Vikky at the party She realised how sincere her father is in his attempt to keep her happy..Enough for her to say I love you Papa.

Trying to prepare myself to accept the fact that now I can not see his face every day without fail. May he return fast with another mindblowing role ...but certainly I miss Dev Dixit.

Today's episode was extremely chopped with poor execution but you can still connect the dots in the script. They are pushing through the important scenes. I think the scenes of Suhana's birthday party were longer with a bit more family drama and inclusion but the message that needed to be given in the end of that was that Sonakshi is realizing where she went wrong with Dev and Vicky and how she drew parallels by reflecting on her own responsibilities amongst the Boses to that of Dev's. That was about two episodes worth of stuff cut into half a episode.

...
Again, execution usually is 3/5 in this show and today it was 0.5/5 but it made enough sense.
...

Are you saying there are scenes they shot that wont get aired? 😕 If yes, I hope the makers upload them somewhere.. because A+ KRPKAB scenes dekhne ke leeye hum fans kaheen bhi aa jayenge😲

Like each and every one of us feels, I still have not come to terms with the fact that the show is now ending in less than two weeks. It still makes me extremely sad and moister eyed to even think about 9:30 pm starting 08/28. It will definitely be extremely difficult to adjust to the life without KRPKAB.

My most favorite scene(s) in yesterday, Monday 08/14, episode were Dev-Suhana, "Papa-Beti", scenes in their bedroom. It was just delightful to watch their Father-Daughter conversations. Back of her mind and even in her heart, Suhana always knew that her Papa-Momma loved her immensely and will do anything for her happiness and as soon as she was validated again with the unconditional love that her parents have for her, it was returning home to her good self that she basically is. I just had so much satisfying feelings and assurance watching this unique Father-Daughter duo that no one can now come between them.

Everything in rest of the episode was good. Makers are definitely trying to fill the gaps in the story and doing a good job; however I am still sad and still can't imagine sleeping without watching KRPKAB. Shaheer had said in one of his interviews that we will sleep with a smile and happiness after watching KRPKAB episodes each night and I know for sure that smile and happyness will definitely be missing from me each night after 08/25. How long? Only time will tell.

I am usually against watching segments because I always felt they negatively affected my excitement of watching actual episodes, however I looked for them today and watched them and they made me even more sad and emotional. Sorry for the sad post, I have been trying to cheer myself up but am still failing at it miserably. If any of you have figured out what you will be engaging in to after our beloved show ends, please share so we all can get some ideas.

Thanks.

Hey all, long time. Real life can be such an unwelcome intrusion sometimes. 😊

The news of the show ending so abruptly was a bit of a shock, but storywise, I feel like I have been prepared for this since the beginning of the leap. They always poised the story in such a way that they could end it in a week or explore the plot points at leisure over months. I have no complaints with where it stands because according to me, the core story was given satisfying closure with Ishwari's redemption properly explored (as in, the show didn't end with her changing, but we got to really see the changed Ishwari in action) and Devakshi's reunion not dangled in front of our noses for months on end. Everything happened with the time was right, and so when news of the show ending came abruptly, I knew I would miss the show being part of my everyday life, but am satisfied with how it went.

I am glad it's ending at a stage when it can be watched as a cohesive unit, without any sudden breaks or gimmicks that compromised the core story and characters -- when I watch earlier episodes, I see less developed versions of the very same characters! As long as they don't make any monumental gaffes in the weeks to come, I end the first phase of my journey with this show a very happy viewer. ⭐️

I also loved yesterday's episode! ❤️ The scenes between Dev, Sona, and Soha were so beautifully written, directed, and acted and I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. I think it's important to remember that in a lot of ways, Soha is still testing her relationship with her papa, since he is so new to her life. She is trying to figure out the kind of person that he is and how their relationship works -- that is why there was so much zidh where Vicky was concerned. The slap, coupled with Vicky's sudden niceness really confused her about the kind of person Dev was, and she got a little lost trying to figure her way out of this confusion. When Dev brought Vicky to the party, everything fell back into place for her and she saw her dad clearly -- Vicky was only ever a symbolic entity.

One of my favourite moments from yesterday's episode was when Soha came to her parents' room door and smiled at Dev hesitatingly. She was so unsure about how things would proceed after the first unpleasantness in her realtionship with papa, but the way Dev handled her left me (and Soha) feeling so content. He told her what he wanted most of all was for her daughter to remain the person that she was -- what an amazing loop closure from the time she lied because Golu told her it's what impressed Bigcha! He also gave her the assurance that she would be his perfect daughter forever as long as she owned up to her mistakes. *Sigh* Sona and Dev are such a great parenting team, and it's wonderful to watch Dev fill in the blanks -- now Soha knows that marks are important but they aren't the be all and end all. That was one happy little girl who fell asleep surrounded by her parents' unconditional love.

I also loved the Sona-Saurabh segment of the episode. It showed such immense growth in Sona that she owned up to her mistake, and instead of fixing it on her own and pretending like it never happened, she went to dada for help. That one gesture brought them closer, as equal partners, instead of pushing Saurabh away, with Sona isolating herself further. The fact that she left that SMS for Dev, and took the driver told me that the pendulum has finally found it's rhythm -- it's no longer swinging wildly from one side to another. Sona, the mother, trusted Dev the father and left Soha with him so that she could throw herself into the role of Sona the sister and business partner with full involvement and integrity. I loved that security and balance in her multiple roles.

Finally, watching Sona stuff her face with ice-cream and then seeing Dev show up at Bose house in the middle of the night hit me with a strong wave of nostalgia. No brownie points for guessing what moment it brought to mind!

Sam thanks for the wonderful post. It reminded me of the story that Dev once told Golu. Where he said that the king comes and roars, and the others occupying his throne run away from there. 😆 (sorry don't remember the exact story, but this is what I remember). Finally Dev Dixit is back home in his rightful place.

Now my only wish is for Tripati's to vacate the premises of IN. 😉 😊

Loved your post, @Sam...

And, while I am not sure which moment, you were referring to, in the last paragraph... But, it definitely reminded me of the night when Dev came to propose to Sona, in an orange shirt...

In one of my posts, I said that the episode (probably, 350th) when Ishwari fed both Dev and Sonakshi was, in my opinion, the resolution of the main arc of the story...

After that, I said that any episode that I watch from that point onwards, will be just a bonus... And, while I am still slightly saddened since watching Devakshi had become such an important part of my daily life, but I definitely agree with you, that from the POV of story-teller, the story has nearly resolved all of its loops...

The extension might have resulted in a probably, more well-paced ending... But, in my opinion, the ending would have been pretty similar...

Looks like the makers equated the infertility track with this pregnancy complication track. There Dev had to chose being with Sonakshi or the children he would have. He chose Sonakshi. Now Sonakshi is in the same place. If she tells Dev of the complications, chances are that he will say lets terminate it as you are more important than any child you may bear. Also we have Soha, so we are good. But she wants to relive the pregnancy moments with him and give him that happiness, the ones he missed. And that is why she will go ahead with pregnancy similar to Dev going ahead with marriage well knowing that he may never become dad.

With this Sonakshi got the answer to her last question. In season 1, she had a lot of question regarding Dev's actions and decisions. She couldn't understand why Dev made the choices he did. Now it is coming to full circle where she no longer has any questions left regarding his choices. She now truly understands Dev and why he is the way he is.

My only other wish is(apart from the revelation of maami/Vickky truth and Bijoy getting to know the truth) is that Sonakshi should gift her company to Saurabh. She had opened it on bhaidhooj to help her brother. So for Rakhi which is another festival for brothers, she should give him complete responsibility of the company and withdraw from it. That company should be run by Saurabh going forward and if Sonakshi is involved, it should be in diminished capacity like a consultant nutritionist or something like that. Especially as she is facing complications with her pregnancy, she should be relieved of the stress of having to run a company.

Strictly my pov. not intended to hurt anyone.
