I completely agree with this and I think Dev understood that too when Vickky told him about coming to IN and bringing her favorite vanilla cake. Vickky thinks he is super smart and he revealed in hoping that it will make Dev realize how he is better and how he has won. It was his way of saying you lost. But I think that truth is what will make Dev ensure that Vickky never comes back to IN.

During the summer camp snake track, I had mentioned that Suhana is the person who will give him enough strength to break the bonds of indebtedness and gratitude. And I was right 😆 . Vickky is that snake. First Dev tried to deal with it and catch it on his own. Dev threw Vickky out of the house thinking that would be enough. Hearing Dev screaming, Sonakshi comes in the room leaving Suhana with Golu. She sees a belt and says that is snake. But then Dev realizes it is not. Similarly both Ishwari and Sonakshi try to say that he is harmless and not really a threat. But then he sees that it is about to fall on Sonakshi. He saw how their efforts of making the cake or organizing the surprise party was negated by Vickky. It is at that moment when he saved Sonakshi from the snake falling on her and harming her that Suhana entered. Dev gives Suhana to Sonakshi and catches the snake. He then packs it in a bag and takes it to the jungle far far away from the camp and leaves it there. And now that he saw how Suhana is taken by this fake love, Dev knows that the danger is very real and he needs to get rid of it. And that is my guess.

Immediately after the party he will give money to Vickky and send him far far away from Delhi. Maybe even threaten him of dire consequences if he ever comes back to Delhi or anywhere near Sonakshi or Soha. After a couple of days after this he will pack up maami and co including Golu. And they will go be with Vickky. And I think he gives clear indication and information about Vickky's acts to Elena too so that neither of them ever think of coming back or using Golu again.

Once the influence of Golu and Vickky is removed, it wouldn't be hard for Suhana to change and become the girl she was. Dev will make sure she is surrounded by people who influence her in a good way and not a bad way. He will also make sure that she knows what is right and what is wrong and to make the right choice.

The last paragraph is my assumption based on what they have shown so far. And my hope is added too. 😃

Vicky thinks he outsmarted Dev 7 years back and separated Dev and Sona..he thinks he can do that now also..
But Vicky can never outsmart Dev..Dev was sad..Deva and Sona had problems that is why he could separate them..but now that is not the case..So, if they show that Vicky again outsmarts Dev then it will be ridiculous..
I am remembering the dialogue he says during "the new rang" track..Dev Dixit jab bura banta hai..kitna bura banta hai..
Let him show who is the ultimate villain when it comes to his family..

Hi Friends,

My analytical power has climbed on to shelf of sadness since yesterday and would not come off so am unable to write anything. However, thank you so much to you all for sending your reviews, ideas, analysis, hopes... At least reading them make me come out of my sad self - even if it is temporary. I assume yesterday's episode was filmed prior to getting news of show going off air 😡 so predicting future episode story from it is getting difficult for me.

Hopefully I will be better by Monday.

Ji 😔

@sjain Just checked at the petition site, we have 3k signatures by now...

But, this is not why I came here... Last week, I was finally able to get my hands on the original and complete soundtrack of this show...

And, when the news broke out, I was listening to one of them...

I hope that even though, KRPKAB will probably never get the ending that it truly deserves but I am glad that I was a part of a show which will definitely leave an undeniable mark in the history of Indian television history...

I am sure, years from now, this show will still shine like the North Star and will be remembered as the one of the 'Kohinoor' of the Indian Television...

I wish all of the actors especially Shaheer Sheikh, Erica Fernandes and Supriya Pilgaonkar for their fabulous performances and especially for bringing the characters to life...

Dev and Sonakshi, or as I like to call them 'DevAkshi' will remain to be my most favorite pair that I have seen on the Indian Television...

As I have said it earlier, I will continue to watch the last 10 episodes, even though, it will probably leave me heartbroken... Simply because this show deserves it... And, it will be my way of giving it a well-deserved applause...

-Suyash.

P.S: KRPKAB was the show that started my journey of watching an Indian daily soap and with its end, my days of watching Indian TV soaps also comes to an end...

Because, I don't think that I will ever love any other show or its characters as much as I loved Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi or DevAkshi...

P.P.S: A very special 'Thank You' to all of you for making my journey all the more special and enjoyable... I don't know whether I will be present on IF after 25th August, but I really appreciate all of the moments that I have spent on this thread...

Goodmorning dear ones...I know all of us are still in the state of shock & numbness from what has transpired in the last 2 days, w.r.to our dear show. To be honest, though I was seeing this coming, I too can't take it when I think of missing our Devakshi (or is it Sharica) after August 25th. I will explain why I was expecting this and why I feel that the makers were preparing for this day & didn't put much effort in convincing the channel to give an extension.
Since the news broke out around mid of May about the sudden wrap up of their new Sanaya Irani show which was a joint venture between BD & Sony TV productions (soon after the first schedule shooting), I had a gut feeling that things were not fine between the producers & Sony TV. I think from then on the producers were prepared for anything like this and so had even lost interest in KRPKAB. And that may be why they started hurrying up with the tracks starting from Ishwari's overnight realisation, which also coincidentally happened around mid of May. Since then, I (w/o a personal account on any of these SNS) had been literally stalking TT & Instagram accounts of the actors, producers, production team, viewers who were very close to the team & actors to see whether anyone dropped any hint. The first negative vibe I got was when Erica replied to a viewer about her bengali accent (her tweet on Jun 10 says, 'Looks like you wont have Sona speaking in bengali again..."). Though this could have been a generalised tweet, around the same time we heard SP saying in one of the SBS/SBAS spoilers that her journey from a mother to mother in law has come to an end, which again didn't go well with me. But then, as the show progressed I went with the flow till June 22nd episode, where all of a sudden we see Ishwari taking a U-turn stating that Dev & Sona need not marry again, as they were not divorced. Though I myself had made a post supporting this, somewhere around Shaheer's disturbed or not so convinced expressions made me think on it. (Whoever have a doubt on this, watch episodes 343 & 345 and the photoshoot pictures of the Dixit family once again). That time I couldn't get an answer to my question on why a person who sounded so excited & vibrant in his interview with Raj Badhan on Jun 14 & was so full of josh in his Indo programs till June 15, was looking disinterested & tired in the tracks that was shot after his return on Jun 16 and was aired on June 22nd & 23rd. Now, I feel like around that time, the trio would have been informed about a probable sudden wrap-up by the channel and hence the need of the sudden U-turn in the story. And that would be why, we all were feeling that the chemistry between the leads were not working as old times. Adding to it, the get-together of all the main casts (except for the kids, Neha & Mamaji) along with director Prateek, production guy Utkarsh & creative gal Niharika on June 23 at the Patnaik's house, underlined my doubt on a probable closure coming up. And if you think, it was only the main team who were offered such a farewell get-together, then go and see Utkarsh Bali's instagram post on July 26, where we can see the whole crew of KRPKAB chilling out at a water park. Above all this, what surprised me is a post shared by DD's wife from hospital about 10days back, where she was admitted to the hospital and DD was busy writing episodes for KRPKAB even at hospital. And that answers the query on how DD could write the last episode within hours of the show wrap-up broke-out.

Another important thing is that, if we carefully watch the episodes from 345 onwards, instead of concentrating on the main story and closing the open tracks, the makers/writer were focusing on social issues like live-in relationship, single retired woman finding out me-time for themselves, obsessive husband, parallel of nirbhaya case, problems arising with kids who got less attention from their parents etc etc along with some Devakshi lolipops. If they had concentrated on the main story, wouldn't have the TRPs improved, which in turn would not have paved the way for this abrupt ending. So, it would have been better if DD would have not commented on viewers not watching the show on TV.

Anyway I am feeling very bad for those twitteraties who stood loyal not only to the show & actors, but also to the makers till the last moment and were literally fighting with those who had started bashing the makers/ writers when the story started going haywire after Ishwari's overnight realisation & thus left the show. As one of the old viewer of KRPKAB had tweeted under DD's post on watching on TV, 'The fandom actually was slitting each other's throats to protect yours tbvh'. By not preparing these loyal fans (who believed that they were very close to the whole team) for this moment the makers have really stabbed them at their back. What else could you expect from someone who mocked these loyal fans by her tweet on June 23, when they criticized her for Erica's Egyptian dress costume.

P.S. Sorry for my long ranting...Sam & DQ, please let me know if I have violated any rules of the thread. As I suspect, there would be, since sometimes it was my frustration speaking.

Wonderful reasoning and welcome back. Your analysis is so relatable and connected. It is so disheartening to hear such words from DD at this moment. I hope I pray the efforts of fans will become fruitful and our Show could get a proper closure with sufficient time ahead. Fingers crossed but heart broken.

That is some analysis 👏, somehow it now makes more sense of why the show is ending. What adds to it is that the timing of the new show from the makers is coinciding with the end of our show. Also at the end of the day the series is their brain child and it's to their discretion on deciding about the future of the show. Only expected the makers to be bit more graceful & sympathetic to the fans, it would do no harm.

I think it all started in December..probably they had only 1 year contract and wrote story accordingly..but around Nov-Dec channel must have given them extension so they brought in differences and biggest was infertility and if you remember the 5 cr fiasco was kind of sudden on last days of december..at that time they planned for leap..and spun the story accordingly without considering some hanging stories main one being Neha's story..

Neha - that will remain my biggest disappointment since the 1st episode started with her story her story needed a certain conclusion..what happened to the Dev-Neha-Ishwari equation..there could have been such a pure bond based on friendship created between Neha-Sona..i saw a glimse of that on Nov 1st episode..where sona applies serum on Neha's hair..but nothing happened..it was left hanging and after the leap also no mention of her or anything..😭

Anyway so, in December they made RR completely selfish and Ishwari completely possessive and insensitive to ask for a baby..
but later PH could not handle the 1 year extension since much story was not left..and then rest is history..

i still say this leap was not at all needed..it was only to attract new audience and it worked too..because suddenly ratings increased everywhere..

I agree story actually took a back seat especially once the makers got the extension, I guess even they were surprised and introduced the leap which was not needed considering the fact that most of the tracks which were left open pre leap even post leap they remain unanswered. In fact I remember in one of her interviews post leap Erica mentioned that she was not keen or rather a bit unhappy playing the role of a mother on screen, so seems like even the actors were not that aware of the storyline. Also all this coincided with Shaheer devoting time for his Indonesian project which meant makers had to tweak the storyline so as to accommodate his time as well, I am not bashing or questioning Shaheer's commitment here but these things have to be taken into consideration it's a daily show and not a weekly show.
My only wish now is somehow they give us the last 10 episodes which match the quality of the first 100 episodes, I know it's difficult but that's the least I am expecting

Just my POV, no offence.
