Doubt Regarding Colors

In additive color mixing, like light, all the colors combined create WHITE. Consider a prism and imagine the process in reverse.

In subtractive color mixing, like paint, all the colors combined create BLACK. This is because you've effectively blocked all other colors.

Isn't love like the light, which reflects and not like the paint, which absorbs. I mean love is called selfless(giving), which is giving and not selfish which is taking(absorbing).

All the times Sonakshi talks about being selfless and even shows herself to be selfless. I mean she even forgave Vickky saying I am doing this for the family. It is Dev who usually says that he is selfish and that his love is too.

Then why did she refer to love as "Black", when it is supposed to be White. Of these 2 who is selfish and who is selfless. I am confused. And what kind of love is Sonakshi's and what kind is Dev's.

Love is love, there is no specific colour for love...
I wouldn't say that people are not selfless but everyone has a little selfishness in them be it for themselves, their children or their family...
Dev's love and Sona's love does differ due to their backgrounds and how their families brought them up...

I guess the example was not apt there.

I agree with what you are saying. And that is why I am both confused and surprised of Sonakshi's answer. Which kind of threw me off. Hence wrote it here that maybe someone might know why she said like that. 😊

in return sona said 'par dev ko.samajna chahiye k pyar milte

he to kalla to padta he na '

actually dnt knw wat she said , and dnt knw meaning of kaalla but she was not talking abt black color

Good that you expressed the doubt. Thinking of that only all the while . Could not understand what she meant. One thing is for sure. The nature of love though same differs in projection for each person. The two leads here are so different in feeling and expressing love. While I could connect with Dev I get confused of Sonakshi's love.

Keeping aside my sarcastic nature which became my coping up mechanism for this show, it really really hurts to see our beloved characters getting killed bit by bit like this. I honestly feel that the damage they did to Dev in this track is minimal because its visible and we are still able to connect with his emotions to certain level, more over this is how they were playing with his character from ages. But from my pov, the damage they did to sona's character was way too much. There were times i laughed with her, i cried with her, i felt sorry for her, i felt she deserves much better, i felt like slapping her, shaking her to bring back in to sense, i felt angry with her, i felt annoyed with her BUT i never felt disconnect with her previously. At present, I am not able to feel anything for her, no emotions at all, she is looking like a alien to me.
