I can't believe the part which I loved yesterday, which literally brought tears to my eyes for how proud I was of sona... Could bring up so many questions on so many people's minds. I mean everyone says it's a phenomenal track because this is actually very common... But what they are saying actually shows why this is needed. Both on the forum and twitter I have read something which have shocked me.. So I would like to put forward my views about it.

To begin with I love such strong, determined and proud women. Don't get me wrong... I am not saying for even one moment that housewives or such other women are not any one the above. They are, in fact, very much, and I believe she should be equally respected whether she works at a office or runs the home. Both ways she works equally hard and should be recognized.

So what I meant here is those qualities come from this attitude of wanting to make the identity, of not giving up under pressure, of wanting to achieve something by yourself... Whatever the WORK be.

It's just that for sona's case... Her work is her business where she wants to make a name for herself. Achieve something for herself and her daughter so that not only soha but even dev can be proud of her. Yes they already are and always will be but irrespective of this fact what she says holds true. Like, my parents have been very proud of my sister and me in whatever we have done and will be even if we are not able to live up to their expectations... So do we stop trying? Just because them being proud of us is a given?

Same way, I look to my mom just as soha does to sona. In fact they are actually similar in this respect and I always will be... So knowing that should she stop trying to go rise in her work?

No right?

So why is sona wrong if she wants to work so that soha can be proud of her and look up to her?

And since both of them are in business, dev symbolises the pinnacle, like he is her model in this case a place where she wants to reach, so why is she wrong if she wants to reach his place, to reach that level of achievement, why is she wrong if she desires to be like him, or even compete with him?

Like seriously??? Is this what we think of our women still?

When all her words from wanting to make a name, wanting soha to look up to him, wanting to reach dev's place, not wanting to give up work just because he has everything, because just as his everything is hers, hers will be his too... All of it were cent percent true and something to be proud of! Every women should believe in this. And specially the way she said, literally made me cry because I was so so proud of her..!

And also, really is soha only her responsibility? Just because she is her mother she should always be around her and so work from home? Really is this a fact, or just a predujice we have towards the role of mothers??

And lastly this conversation is not out of context at all...because it's dev who dragged her work into the matter! Who insists she works from home for her safety and so that she can be close to soha ...when she made it clear that she can't work like this! That her work can only happen in the office and it's important for her. And plus, did dev shift his office in the home too? So he doesn't need to be near soha always is it? Only sona needs to compromise her work for that? She has to be mother first but dev van remain the businessman is it? Now tell me is one being stubborn??? (yes I have actually read this!)

I hope I have been able to clear some confusions and made myself clear!
