It has been a quite sometime since I have written some kind of analysis... But, now, I have collected all of these thoughts that I just want to take it out of my system...
So, let's get started...
The current track focused on Devakshi and now, the upcoming track of Vicky's revelation is literally keeping me awake... The immense potential of these two tracks... I just wish that the CVs could treat these tracks with the seriousness that it deserves... And, frankly, I hope that they don't rush these tracks...
So, yes... I am keeping my fingers crossed with these two...
I don't know how are they going to interweave these two huge tracks but I am willing to be patient and just watch the episodes... So, feeling super excited, yet I am trying to control it and keep my expectations low... Just for the sake of my sanity...
Now... I guess, it's time to move to the next two tracks which are also keeping me hooked with this show...
First one is the track where Golu is teaching Soha how to cheat... Considering, I had been a student who has always put the hard and long hours in trying to learn and become good at my subjects and studies... And, for someone, who really find it difficult to interact with the kids who cheated..
I really don't like my two favorite cutie-pies engaging and indulging in this sort of... wrongdoings... But, while I might not like this track one bit, I am also amazed on how much information could I extract from this track and how this track has opened an ample number of opportunities to look and analyze and explore our beloved characters, a little bit better and deeper...
First and foremost, considering the character of Dev and how much he appreciated and understood the importance of education, hard work, dedication and his goodness as well as Ishwari's upbringing and her importance on inculcating good principles in her children, I really don't think that Dev will ever suggest or encourage Golu to cheat in the examinations...
In my opinion, Vicky had taught this habit to Golu, by saying how both Dev and he indulged in such activities during their childhood... And, knowing Golu's idolization of Dev, he might have started participating in such activities thinking he is just following on his beloved Big Cha's footsteps...
That seems to be the only plausible explanation for me... And, if this turns out to be true, then, it adds to the already-overwhelming evidence against Vicky on his incapability to act as a good father... Forget good, I can can't consider him to be an example of even an average, negligent father...
And, I do hope that both Dev and Sona comes to know of this and corrects this behaviour before they actually act on it... But, considering the friction that exists between them now and the ensuing upheaval that will be caused when both Sona and Dev will come to know of Vicky's actions... I think, they will only come to know of the kids' actions afterwards...
It is imperative for Golu to understand the difference between right and wrong... He needs to understand there is no shortcut to success as well as that he might idolise someone but, he is his own person and hence, he needs to realise the importance of being Ronak Tripathi, instead of being a miniature clone of Dev Dixit (something his father never understood or learnt).
And, I think, this track is symbolic of the importance of harmony between the parents and how crucial it is for the parents to understand that any crack in their relationship also intentionally or unintentionally hinders their ability as a parent/mentor to their children...
From my own personal experience, I can safely say that whenever my mother and father had an argument or there was some kind of friction between them (whether we (my sister and I) came to know of it or not), we can sense the tension in the room... And, that was always the time when we both realised and knew that they were emotionally unavailable/unreachable... Not only that, we also both very cautious around them as well as knew that we could get away with few things that we couldn't in normal circumstances...
Every parent has their own share of bad days but I guess, it's their responsibility as parents to understand that their behaviour could have some kind of negative effect on their children. And, hence, why they can't act like a teenager and run away from their problems.. They are always supposed to not understand deal with the micro-problems but also understand the bigger picture...
This track might be introduced to teach Dev and Sona to understand that how their relationship affects their ability to act as parents/guardians to both Soha and Golu respectively..
They both need to understand that they have people who are completely dependent on them, not only financially, but also emotionally... Both children will need them to be not only act as their protectors, but also as their guide and their emotional anchor... And, they can't ignore or turn a blind eye to the needs (both physical and emotional) of the two young children, otherwise, the potential for them to go astray is massive.
Another thing which this track gives me an opportunity of, is the opportunity to understand the characters of both Soha and Sona a little bit better... And, the possible differences between Dev and Bijoy as fathers...
From what we have seen so far, it is safe to conclude that Suhana is a near-perfect copy of Sonakshi, barring a few minor differences and hence, their relationship with their fathers are also pretty similar in nature...
Even though, Soha has been shown as a studious student who understands that cheating is a wrong thing to do...
But, the very idea that if she doesn't cheat, she might end up disappointing Dev, whom she not only adores, but also considers him to be perfect (as expressed by Sona during her monologue yesterday), has allowed Golu to influence her...
In short, for her, her father's approval or expectations already is her utmost priority... She is completely a Daddy's Princess and for her, Dev's opinion of her is of supreme importance.. And, the most interesting part is that Dev has not said a single word to her where he might have expressed his disappointment or
This is completely identical to Sona's relationship with Bijoy...
In my opinion, like Suhana, Sonakshi also moulded herself (whether she liked it or not) according to Bijoy's expectations... And, this happened without the intervention of her father... She must have seen on how dismissive, her father was of his son, Saurabh and hence, she, in her desire to still have her father's affection and love changed herself...
And, since, this happened naturally and was a gradual and a slow change, this must have never been noticed by either of her parents (referring to both Bijoy and Asha)...
(We also witnessed something similar with respect to Dev's relationship with Ishwari)
And, I guess, we will also see the differences between Dev and Bijoy as fathers to their daughters, when Dev will come to know of this truth...
While Bijoy considers himself to be perfect or near-perfect, he would have enjoyed and loved seeing Sona turning into the-son-that-he-wished-he-had-but-never-got... He must have been overjoyed when he saw how Sona was exactly like he envisioned his son to be... So, he never tried to see whether Sona was comfortable with it or not...
Probably, this is why Sona behaves in the way, we see her today... Probably, this was one of the core reasons on why she doesn't feel comfortable in expressing herself, since this makes her feel vulnerable.. Something, which Bijoy might have looked down on...
On the other hand, Dev doesn't consider himself to be perfect and hence, once he comes to know of the truth, he might be hurt that his daughter has indulged in such an activity... Instead of getting disappointed, he will try to guide her with gentle care and affection...
And, Dev is indeed is indeed a complicated person but one thing that it is open for everyone to see, is that he accepts everyone as it is and doesn't try to change anyone, based on his desires and needs... He loves everyone irrespective of their flaws and is always respectful of their core characteristics...
(I am pretty sure his current desire for Sonakshi to act like he desires to act, when it comes to expressing her love will be the first and the last time, he will do so, once he comes to know of the truth and gets a glimpse of Sonakshi's hidden thoughts/emotions.)
It is quite amusing and interesting to note that all the three leading ladies in his life (Sonakshi, Ishwari and Suhana) only wants his affection and nothing else...
And, I am sure that once Soha realises the fact that her father loves her and will always loves her, irrespective of her actions and the only thing that he desires is for her to be happy and content with her life... She will learn from her mistakes and hence, will not try to become someone which is not her original self...
And, this very simple change will probably, prevent Soha to commit the same mistakes that her mother did during her initial days of her marriage or even now...
Phew.. I said a lot... And, now, I need to rush for a meeting with my colleague.. I want to also express my views regarding Ronita's pregnancy track but I guess, I will do it at a later time...
