I guess same thing might happen to many people. It could be anything,they could just be friends, co-stars, more than co-stars less than couples. Just felt happy that they are opening up, even as a friend. It must be hard for them to do anything thing as people take everything out of context. They probably think alot before liking or commenting. Who knows?
