Dont think Erica was in depression...actually I find her quite sensible considering the fact that she gets bashed horrendously by some of Sha's fans every now and then and she never bothers defending herself. I find her more mature for her age.
As you pointed out,Sha-Ayu thing was a big blow for Sha. Sha was emotionally invested in the relationship and he does get affected by what ppl say. Slowly he is learning to be happy without letting it be driven by fan comments. I can see him happy now, doing whatever he is doing and unaffected by wht fans comment. Hopefully he continues to be happy as such.
I honestly feel for both of them. Shaheer and Erica both are bashed unnecessarily, fans should really understand they don't own them. Erica just for being his co-star. She is still bashed but less than previously. Last year she was bashed so brutally by these so called Shaheer fans from his previous shows especially Shamya ones, finally Soumya's marriage this year shut their mouths. And also Indo ones who live in their imaginary Aysha land. Now it's mostly Indo fans only.
Shaheer has been facing it since past few years especially since he went to Indo, first bashed by Indian fans for his relationship with Ayu and then when his relationship broke down, and Ayu played the victim card, he was bashed brutally by Indo people. Infact Ayu didn't leave any stone unturned to insult him on national television over the failure of their relationship. He still can't catch some respite. I hope that Sharica shippers don't become like Shamya ones if this one doesn't materialise, though I fear it's already happening.
I'm glad that Shaheer is happy now even if it's in Indonesia. He has gone through a lot already. And it's good to see him all cheerful. It took him a really long time to get over that relationship. Glad that he's over it now and truly happy. I also feel his relationship with Ayu lasted longer than 4 months, than he claims.
It's natural for Shaheer to become more private now especially of his personal life, because he's paid the price of being so open about his previous relationship. So if there is anything between Sharica, they won't open up untill they get married. Though I'm not sure if there is anything between them or not. They keep on giving mixed signals.😆

@randommusing: I do feel he his more biased towards his Indo fans. Have observed so. No offense to anybody.
