You know I am thinking of a name today. For days like this. A true KRPKAB classic it was...a KRPKAB masterpiece if you will... Which truly showed the height which is normal for the show. I can't even explain how much I loved the episode... In fact loved would be an understatement... Because I was thinking had we thought it first or the CVs! Like they read our minds or what??
So I am going to cherish writing this post, and go bit by bit. Let's see!
Started with our beloved devakshi itself, as the conversation from serious instantaneously changed to a light one. Dev commented on his mom's restraurent habits and both had a laugh. Very well! But as they launch into the issue again, in comes ishwari. Both dev and ishwari make the excuse of halwa but sona coming to the point brings up a dinner. Ishwari getting the opportunity she wanted agrees. Here I loved how dev and sona truly worked together. Like sona started, and dev though taken aback quickly backed her up. So far so good!
Next the scene opened to the sisters...and I smiled as I knew it was going to be good! We wanted more from riya herself, at least I did, and we got. She explained how, just as we had thought, for her dev coming to meet her was enough . The happiness of the moment was such that she forgot all her anger and grudges. As she said she only remembered her brother, who has always loved them and done everything for them. So for her it was enough.
I knew riya was the most mature of the three and didn't expect Nikki to give in so quickly. I like how the sisters are shown as having opposite reactions. If riya as we saw today talked of dev's loneliness, his pain, they own fault at not being with him, these own shortcoming concerning him...Nikki represents the sisters pain of being ignored and alien in their own house. So no, she is not expected to forgive so easily only understand dev too. To discuss and not shout. Simple.
And all these points along with laksh's words on bit judging a person were beautifully brought out in the conversation.
Coming to dinner scene. Ishwari behaving like dev described and sona and dev exchanging looks was very cute! And then both fumbled trying to break the news to the other. That is until ishwari sees Raman and goes of to the washroom. Sona suggests they directly break the news to her and dev agrees.
But then all confusion happens...i wont go In to the details but only the two important scenes.
One between dev and Nikki... I like how dev tried to tell his pov too that it's not his anger or hesitation. They had brought ishwari to tell her but then she would need time too. So they backed off.
But I get Nikki too. Someone I thought I think her thinking of how society and her mother don't approve of her relationship get directed towards dev. As if everyone is taking behind her back but not to her. As if dev is ashamed of her. So I really liked this conversation and her reaction.
Coming to ishwari part, sona as expected understood ishwari, and being happy supported her. When dev came she even gave that courage to ishwari but seeing her mumble herself broke the news from which ishwari continued.
Dev is angry. And we got an explanation as to why too. Its a very common question... Radharani type that what she the need to work? And to this was added his bitter experiences where his mother was humiliated. So he is right to some extent not wanting his mom to go through this again. But ultimately he has to understand that she is working for her own happiness.
Finallyyy.. The dev sona scene was my favourite. A quite place in the house. The location and ambience dim lights was perfect. Sona sitting at a distance giving space, then silent conversation asking him to sit closer and finally with his head on her lap... Was more than perfect. Sone pe suhaga!
Dev asked whether he was wrong here too and she says both are right in their own ways. That miffed dev and he went away. Short scene but beahtfully done. And whatever sona might have done wrong while dealing with sisters, or we thought she had.. Today she was perfect. She handled it right. Maybe she will get it wrong again but we too do that so we have to give her the liberty too!
So all this has made me really excited of how ishwari and not sona would plead her case, and the sisters track too told you that wasn't over. I can just imagine the CVs smirking at us knowingly when we were cribbing about all this!
Anyway loved it, and eagerly waiting for tomorrow!
And oh, do tell me if you find a name! 😉
