I don't know how many feels the same way as I am...I am a perturbed with the way in which show is progressing for the following reasons:

  • - Couple who were/are head over heels in love with each other, who couldn't control themselves with their mere presence, who was ogling at her shirtless husband, behave like two total strangers after the union. I am perplexed at the CVs. In one hand they show Live-in- relationship on the other hand they show couples' intimacy just for procreation which was the thinking in 18th century...Me as a viewer would have been at peace if they have shown a scene where atleast one of them take a move and the other asks for a little time to term with the current developments...I have consoled myself by saying "logic ko maro goli fir bhi dil hai ki mantha hi nahin
  • - Live in relationships are the walk/talk of the day. Mostly seen in the Filmdom and TVworld. Then why should they portray it as something evil. Nikki's reasoning are correct. She has seen how marriage crippled down for two of her siblings who were madly in love. So she is taking it slow. Why the shocked expression from the brother and SIL?
  • - I don't know about others I feel the novelty and freshness have disappeared in the DEVAKSHI chemistry. It's looks so repetitive. Now don't tell me the actors are hesitant. I have been a fan of SHAHEER from Navya times. He doesn't have any inhibition to display love both on and off screen. Now a days I am more interested in SHARICA than Devakshi. Because the former sends us more romantic vibes than the latter.
Long rant...what to do? I have to vent out somewhere or other? Thanks to MEher and the girls for the ADDA which at least keeps the feeling intact and revives our mood.

Yes , I agree with you ...in fact long back I had made a post about the importance of passion among couples...but many felt that passion was not there because there are still some matters that needs to be resolved...so I left it at that...

My thought is the same as yours ...I mean she was staring at her husband while he was getting dressed and the way he touched her cheeks on the pretext of adjusting her hair...it was as if they both cant stay away from each other...but now after they unite they havnt even shown one scene where we feel that they are husband and wife...they don't even look like best friends...they look more like colleagues working on the same project...

I don't understand Dev's reaction ...he himself went and dated so many women...now he is not able to accept his sis in a live in relationship...and if he was this concerned why did he not bother abt his lil sister in the first place...ONLY after Sonakshi found out did he know abt it...so that is a very illogical approach by the CV team...

Well , now coming to think of it...why are we even talking abt logic...I just watch this serial because its acted by Shaheer and Erica...if not would have left this one long back...

You very rightly said ...Chemistry is more off screen than on screen 😉

So true miss dev and sonas chemistry. Their scene apart from a very few are so friend zoned types. Doesn't look like they are these crazy in love couple who met after 8 long years

@ werocjtheworld thank god at least someone out there agree with me. I feel so disgusted to see why they overlook such important aspects. They are sleeping together after so many years.atleast a scene where he rejoices seeing her next to him in the morning which was a sbeer bless for him earlier. And she also next morning goes to kitchen comon hadh hothi hai yaar.
You are very correct offscreen chemistry is something we are rooting now

👍🏼 I understand that physical intimacy cannot happen that soon especially after so many years...as both of them are scared of hurting each other...not that they dislike it ...infact someone as deeply in love like them and have yearned to be together would want to be close in every aspect...its only the fear that keeps them away...which was very beautifully shown prior to them getting back ...but now when they have got back...there should be more scenes where in we get to see them wanting to be in company of the other...we get to see them solving problems...and even their Scenes are more like best friends... 🤣 What to do ...it kind of leaves an in complete feeling after seeing every episode...as if something is missing even though we enjoy the scene...not satisfying... 😕

My take on the 3 points you have raised -
1. Yes, the passion could have been shown. But I think what they are trying to depict is that their relationship is now at the different stage in life.. Even in reality, after 7-8 years of marriage, although your heart still flutters at a touch or glance, the practicality is the driving emotion - kids, inlaws, job, running the house etc etc. So, they are probably trying to show that.. I also feel it would have gotten repetitive to show the romance so soon.. we did get some intense moments before SOna's confession, so probably more on the way soon..

2. I dont think they are showing Nikk's live-in in a negative manner.. If you see Sona's reaction, it was more of surprise than shock. Dev is anyway known to over react. But I think the reaction to a live-in relationship is not so much a moral judegement, but if you ask me as a middle class woman/mother of daughters, its more to do with the safety, emotional and legal aspects of it that is worrying.. marriage is binding at many levels, where as live-in is not and that can be very hurtful to the people involved.. I guess that is what they are trying to depict here..

3. The romance in the show has never been too passionate, its always been subtle.. I know that considering Sharica chemistry we want to see more, but I guess we may not get that.. I am not sure how much of it is because of Shaheer or Erica.. but it may also be that the makers/channel believes in it..

Just quoting a parallel here.. not sure if you guys have watched the drama series ZIndagi Gulzar Hai.. I think the chemistry/passion between the leads is superb even without the over-the-top touchy feely romance :) I always feel Kuch rang has been like that :)

I was pissed off at this. They are really behaving like 60 year old couple.
Do the writers change every week?
They want to correct all the mistakes & then only proper reunion or what?
Then they could have shown they have reconciled for soha's sake.
Now , they don't want to be with her also.
Dev is showering all his love on golu only.
I am not saying leave him out. But the love towards soha shown in initial episodes not there.
Total disconnect between some set of episodes.
Now , with the sisters back , Mami will brainwash them & create MU between the trio.
I am tired of all this .
Can't they show some Devakshi romance? Is it too much to ask??

Agree with you all
- I don't think its channel. Something wrong with the cvs. Subtlety is fine but this is ridiculous. I dont want to blame shaheer also. He has acted the permissible intimacy in a ver convincing manner in his early shows.
Reg soha I agree with you. They just hush old topics under the carpet when they get new one.
Now they are showing daughters werent in touch. In one of the early episodes they have shown dev talking over phone with neha. In someother they said nikki is studying abroad.
@ werocktheworld we both are on the same page dont show passion atleast show that both are hesitating which will be convincible for the viewers.
I have giveup thatswhynow I focus on Sherica

Hmmm actually had been really wanting to talk on this as i watched the last weeks uptil today in 1 go...A bit put off ...Thy do act as frends more than a couple...There is a formailty which is true to the reasons which has been discussed numerous times but i would hve loved to see them carried away which is so normal even if they r restraining themselves ...Jus 2 weeks bac Neither Dev nor Sona cud take thrir eyes off each other...Thy did hve those touchy feelings to melt in each other arms...There was sltis sexual tension between them..n to think of it they r together now..in a room where right now it luks so unreal...A scene or two about tat yearning could had been shown...Even if not an uneasiness to sleep on the same bed or to use the same wardrobe orto dressup in the room in his/her presence...something on the lines of being a husband wife vibes..Subtle hints of intimacy can be potrayed...After she cmng bac home ...Dono thande hogaye😆 btw i loved tat car handkiss...vich felt so right n intimate...Kuch aise scenes hone chahiye😉
