I differ with both of you on this issue. Iswari's flaws and wrongs are forgiven by Dev. He is aware of her repentance. She suffered seven years without him in her loneliness. The biggest punishment for any mother is to be deprived of the family in general and son in particular.
Iswari 's apology reached Dev not through her words but by her actions. Moreover mother should never be treated on par with anyone else.Mother is mother though she falters. Matru devo bhava. Before bowing before God one should bow before the mother. Dev knows this. Hence he never wish to see his mother fold her hands and apologise.

Sonakshi's fault is no less. And I don't think a small sorry meets the purpose. She should apologise properly for hiding Soha's truth. Nothing compensates Dev's loss.

Reg. Separation also I differ. I already posted my views in Sam& DQ's thread. I don't want to indulge in another debate here.

Let us agree to disagree.

For once, I want to see Sonakshi take a backseat and just enjoy the second chance that life has given her...

Watching the precap made me feel like I am watching Sona of Season 1...

And, frankly the aspect of Sona 1.0 was that she want behind her husband's back, to deal with issues as she saw fit, completely disregarding the feeling of people who loved her and accepted her as she is... It could be either Dev or one of his sisters...

Apart from Neha, both Rhea and Nikki loved her and adored her like she is their real sister.. And, not their elder brothers wife...

Hoping and desperately wishing to see a different Sona this time around...

If she wants to bring happiness to Dev, then, I hope that she just allows him to enjoy the moments that he missed in the last 7 years of being with her and their beautiful daughter...

Thank you for this wonderful post, @Lakshmi...

Thanq Suyash
I just got frustrated on seeing Sona repeat her S1 ways. Thanks for your appreciation.

Agree with you on the point that mother need not verbally apologize...but if sufferings are the criteria for redemption, dev also need not apologize to sona..anyways you are right..topic is changed to something else..so leaving here..

This bahu business is really irritating

Thank you and well said.

Sona's bahu avatar is something typical in indian serials..this is the area where krpkab fails to impress me...typical problem solving bahu..may be only then there will be drama..forgot to tell lakshmi, your post is awesome...and agree with each word in the main post..do keep writing
