Though I am totally disappointed with the third angle track, I am happy with the way Dev is taking care of Sona and her emotions, even when it is hurting him.
The most important part is that even when the time is limited, he is not showing any hurry to get Sona speak out her feelings.(To those who want to argue, then why he agreed for marriage, I would say I see it as, more of a forced decision by Ishwari & Sona on him; and now that he has agreed to it, he wants to end the drama asap. Hence trying to proceed with a fast pace).
Secondly, when she disappoints him with her blunt statements, whether it be her 'un donom ko milaake tu ne acha kiya' at the restaurant or her convincing 'I am sure' to Nisha's question, Dev is not getting riled up or frustrated; instead he is gracefully accepting her and trying to put on a happy conversation with her. I really liked yesterday's karela conversation and somewhere I felt like are we going to see Sona back as Ishwari's nutrionist and in that process, they will get time to be healed and this chup chup ke milna & all will be followed...😊
Thirdly, while trying to speak out his mind to Sona, makes sure that he doesn't embarass her or use the situation to mock at her. One such scene that touched me yesterday was, when Sona fumbles and misplaces the words, instead of asking her to repeat what she said and making her embarassed, he immediately controls his smirk and changes the topic. He understood how much it would have hurted her and made her feel awkward, if he tried to use it to prove that she still had feelings for him. That was a cute gesture of understanding by Dev.
Finally, how he was concerned of Soha and her feelings and how he confided with her about his plan. And yesterday we saw how it helped Soha also to try from her part to convince Sona what she was going to loose. Also, later, when Sona comes to know of his plan, she would be very happy to know that Dev made sure that their little baby girl was not hurt while he played this game.
