Excellent analysis! I had a few more thoughts about the future events given the current scenarios/character growth:

Ishwari manipulating Soha will re. remarriage issue not go well with Dev. This will remind him about Sona's contract. Somewhere or the other, he is aware of the lies and manipulations caused by his family members, incl. his mom, RR and Vicki. This could be the reason why he stayed away from home and office so Ishwari can fulfill her wish to support her brother's family. He will however not tolerate anyone (incl. his mom) to play with Soha's emotions and will not want his daughter to stay in IN. He will probably ask for forgiveness, handover Soha to Bose family and give up his rights of being called 'papa'. These turn of events may be a shocker to Bijoy (who still may blame him) but it will be an eye opener for Sona in many ways (lots of tear jerking scenes of being a bad 'friend', mother, etc. she still is not aware of prenup truth/ Vicki-Mami kaands) I agree with the posts that stated that Sona's insecurities and fear are deep rooted just like Ishwari... and only Dev 'letting go' will begin her path for redemption. I however fear that Dev will probably be seriously be affected with all these events 😕

@ Suyash

Since, the inception of this relationship, it has been Sona who is the main driver of the relationship... Out of the two, she is the one who, more or less, decides the course of their relationship, but in this situation, she will be unable to take the lead and hence, will be forced to play the supportive role...

This will force Dev to step up and take responsibility of this ever-twisting relationship and hence, he will finally need to become the anchor which will hold this ship afloat and in control of itself...

Suyash

Amazing post. Like you said if Dev becomes the anchor I will celebrate. For once I want him to command the situation. Your post gave me hope.

Sam

Wonderful post. But I am scared Iswari's plan will not go as she wished.

@Sam, amazing posts. They are simply superb. 👏 👏 . Only thing I would like to add is Asha. She is being subtle in her questioning because of the past. She still carries that guilt that it was her who had convinced Sonakshi previously to marry Dev before she was ready. She doesn't want to repeat it in case Sona gets hurt again. I feel that once Sonakshi starts acting up due to her jealousy, Asha will probe her further and help Sonakshi confront her demons. I also feel Asha will be the one to talk to Bijoy too when he will try to interfere this time. 😃

Thanks, Shaavi! Right back at you. 😊

I totally agree about Asha's guilt. In fact, your comment reminded me of that vegetable-market conversation between Asha and Ishwari in the early days of S2. Asha displayed so much confidence in her daughter's decision-making ability, and at that point, I could definitely see her guilt about being wrong and therefore an implicit trust in Sona's word. But when Dev came to stay with them and Asha developed her own relationship with him, I think her guilt began to fade as she felt validated by the realisation that the break-up wasn't only Dev's fault and that Sona had behaved unreasonably for her part as well. Ever since then, her confidence in being able to read Sona's true feelings has been creeping back. Like you said, as Sona makes it more and more obvious that she is bothered by the idea of someone else in Dev's life, Asha will feel more and more validated and be able to ask tougher and tougher questions.

@Lakshmi: Ishwari's plan will almost certainly blow up in her face. I think of Ishwari now as very similar to Sona in the Neha/Ranveer situation, or even Sona in the Khatri situation. Things will definitely get worse for Devakshi before they get better, but we get a lot of angst in the bargain so I am game!

And now I am floating back into fangirl mode after today's episode.
Tfw Dev Dixit says all the right things in that husky voice of his...☺️

Hi every one. Finally I get the time and flow for my thoughts which I want to communicate. From last three days I had various thoughts in my mind the first thought was that what ever is done by the Ishu mata at this stage is it a correct move or still she is interfering . My one mind was telling me that for dev and sona to come together and to accept their feeling they required the one push and Ishu mata is tring to give the same push. But some where up to yesterday's episode I was like why she is tying to control the situation but when she pray in front of god in today's she give me the assurance is that she is not trying to control the dev and sona' life but she is trying to fix the things in her own way and still thinks that god is the one who will help them out.But it is quite possible at certain point she will be standing on the same position where dev and sona was standing dev want the mata should be happy for them but they get the unexpected reaction from her so same will happen at certain point but she will get what she want as her intentions are good. @shaavi and for You I am loving this Ishu more who is human and the mother of Dev.

Now Coming to Sona . Sona is standing at the same position where dev was standing after the Sleeping Pill incidence. And that's why dev is more able to understanding the sona and that why he say that who will think about her. And her loneliness'. This time the dev babu will understand the sona first. He may try to joyous her at certain extend but up to what extend he will able to do this I am having the doubt as he is not the dev dixit who want to hurt the sona because she has left her. But she is love of his life so can he able to see sona in pain which she will try to hide. Due to this track I think soan's breakdown is near and she is going to confess her fears and love to dev and after that dev may take the decision to go slow and postpone the marriage ka funda. And I think if dev ask his mother to stop the things and confess her that he loves sona but he want to give the time for the healing process the I think Ishu will step back but If I am not mistaken cv will show the dev and sona's marriage in the june. @Shaavi I remember your prediction. @ I remember point put by @grace4317 that first remarriage will happen then the downfall of mami and red. with both the points I agree. But my point is this situation will not force them to get married. Because somewhere as a soha's father he knows why Bijoy is anger so as the dev dixit he will be ready to wait but without the permission he will not get married suddenly and if we focus on the indications given by CV's according to my guess dev and sona is going to get married just like Vickki and Elena and if this is supposed to be happen then they required the big push. And that big push will be given by mami's red. Day by day baba bose is going out of control. So If I am not mistaken this sudden remarriage of dev and sona is the step which will be taken by sona and dev as soha's mother and father not as lover's because as a lovers dev and sona was never selfish for their happiness. But the courage which is required to do this remarriage by going against baba bose and mami amd red's "shadayatra is in the soha's mother and father. Generally it is said that the things which you are not able to do as the individual is not possible you will do to protect your child. So my prediction says that mami and red will the first one who will get to know about the dev and sona's true feeling which they are confessing but before the matter go out of their hand they will try to utilize the Baba bose's hatred against Ishu mata and tell him about the theft. In the One of the post @Shaavi has put the point related to the document signed by the dev for soha's custody but this will come in the picture not because of the dev's remarriage talk but the Ishu's crime and that document will be misused by baba bose and here mami will cheat Ishu mata and make the situation complicated by giving the notices to the Bose. If this happens then it will be the wheel of karma. At one point due to their hatred baba bose has told the information in vickki and make sure he and his family standing on rode. Now he will make sure that his whole family is standing against him and for Ishu mata due to her insecurities she cheated her own son not her trusted family member will give her the feel of being cheated. And to save the soha from the custody battle or any other future situation dev and sona can decided to get remarried on the short notice like vickki and Elena.

One more thought which I want to share with you related to the wheel of karma that is why dev and ishu never understood that mami and red are using them. In other words they are the real enemies and they are unaware about the betrayal. This is also is the wheel of karma. Ishu Betrayed malati who has given her job . so as the punishment she never know the betrayal by mami and that why in s1 one they get success but in s2 when ishu has accepted her mistake openly and dev take the responsibly of malati's family mami and red will not able to do the damage and give the output which is desired by Ishu with good intentions and mami and vickki's countdown will get started. That's what I feel. Lets see how the things get turned.

@Sam, is it ok if I ask this question. What are your thoughts regarding Bijoy's dialogues and expressions in today's episodes. I felt his expression was very similar to what he showed when Sonakshi blasted Dev in office. The one where Bijoy comes to meet Sonakshi and sees Sonakshi arguing about the wall that she had built in his office, the one Dev broke. I found Bijoy's expressions very similar to that. That day too he was like a cat that ate the canary. Please share your thoughts. 😊

Of course; you don't have to be so hesitant to ask 😆

Honestly, Bijoy's response just made me sad today. Like Asha said, he is so gleeful about his ends being met that he is rendered blind to how much Sona is suffering. I agree with you; it was the same cat who swallowed the canary look that he always has when Sona displays outward indifference or antagonism towards Dev. Little does he realise that that anger is the only way she has of expressing overwhelming emotion.

Her immediate and impulsive reaction when Ishwari told her to find someone for Dev was to rush to Dev and blast him... because he is the first one her heart turns to when it is overburdened. And how did that emotion come out? In the form of meaningless anger, which thankfully, Dev has learned to read as a cry for help. But Dev can't truly help her unless she tells him what the real problem is... that she loves him but she is too scared to give in to that emotion. Bijoy is one of the direct causes and facilitators of that fear, but until Sona reveals that to Dev, he can't help her change Bijoy's mind about him, something he is more than capable of doing at this point in his own personal growth.

Ishwari's plan will probably backfire because she is thinking Sona will follow a similar path to Dev; as soon as she realises she loves him, she will confess and they will live happily ever after. What she didn't bargain for is exactly what Sona did today. As soon as she got an inkling of her feelings through her talk with Asha, she ran as fast as she could in the other direction. This is what Ishwari is missing but Dev sees (because he knows Sona better). Sona can talk herself in and out of absolutely anything in the moment, but the suppressed truth builds up until it bursts out with devastating effects. That is why Dev is being so patient with her -- he is trying to eliminate the need for her to pretend to feel or not feel a certain way, and I am swooning over the fact that he is constantly dropping hints that he can see through her facade without being smug about it.

If it were real life, I would be with Dev all the way, but since we do need drama, I am enjoying Ishwari's intervention. They kind of cemented that it would backfire when the showed her teaching Soha the merits of lying today. 😕🤣

Thanks Sam. Even I was heartbroken today on seeing Bijoy's expressions. A parent does dream about his/her children having a stress free life. One where there are no challenges, no failures, but does that mean a parent should keep their child in a bubble. Is Bijoy really protecting Sona in any way. I feel that as soon as he talked with Ishwari the first time after Dev -- Sona love was revealed, all he wanted was to lock Sona in the tallest tower of the tallest building and set a dragon to guard that. 😆 😉 . He has been trying to eliminate Dev from Sona's life since then.

If only he had been supportive instead of being over protective, he could really ensure that his daughter was happy. Her need to constantly display herself has strong and independent has taken a huge toll on her. After a long time, I felt for her today. 😭 . But I feel it is up to her to set things right. She has to face herself soon. She is right now like the amazon river which is being filled up by the heavy rainfall happening from all sides. When the flood happens, it will be heart breaking. 😊

As to Ishwari, I am liking the fact that her plan is backfiring. Cause she needs to realize the possibility of negative consequences of her manipulations. She feels that the manipulations she did or does are all for good of Dev. But she needs to see that the actual result may differ from her expected result. That her manipulations can lead to Dev losing his happiness forever. We do not want Ishwari manipulating in the future, whether it is really for Dev's good or not. 😆

@Shaavi: It was indeed jarring to see a miserable Sona juxtaposed with a gleeful Bijoy. Like I said in a post a while back, it's like Sona wants to be an investigative reporter while Bijoy wants her to sit in an air conditioned office and write op-eds. That craving for romance and adventure is something that Sona and Saurabh both have, and while Saurabh expressed it freely and faced the consequences, Sona kept it mashed down in order to be Bijoy's ideal child -- until she met Dev. Bijoy sees that affinity for romance as a weakness that draws you towards things that are harmful for you. Instead, why not be practical and avoid all this drama?

In order to work through her fears, Sona first needs to stop feeling ashamed for being a romantic. It's not something she should have to hide, and I love how the transition in her clothes are reflecting that of late, especially the top she was wearing today. It signals the romantic Sona that Dev is gently drawing out with his patient care.

Bijoy could have been, and still can be, such an invaluable mentor to Dev. Instead of protecting his daughter from pain, he can be an active part of pursuing what makes her happy. That one drunken conversation, followed by Bijoy's own introspection in the hospital showed so much potential for their relationship on both sides. In fact, one of my dreams is to see a conversation parallel to the one Sona had with Asha, between Dev and Bijoy... "you think Asha was always this patient and wise? You should have seen our fights when we first got married." 😆

Totally agree Sam. I'd love to see Bijoy as a mentor towards Dev. One of the thing that stuck out to me is how Bijoy was preaching to Ishwari about accepting Ronita as a daughter but he never truly accepted Dev as a son. If he favors Ronita over Saurabh to show her that she is part of the family he also needed to do a bit of that with Dev.

@Sam

Sam, don't you think Bijoy was ready to act like a mentor? I mean he had sided Dev in Masoori track matter and had asked Sona and Dev to resolve their issues peacefully. He also threw them out so that they could resolve their issues without any interference. Moreover, he acted in a friendly way towards Dev on the dinner in Bose House. (We know Bijoy is straight forward and does not hide his feelings).

According to me, he always treated Dev as his son in law. Hence, he was cordial and amicable towards Dev during the Masoori track as well as their first dinner without any pretense. But he became angry only when he saw Sonakshi being hurt or unhappy or when he thought she was forced to do things(vrat and infertility).

When Dev told him that he was Sonakshi's husband and he knew his responsibilities, Bijoy backed off and did not intervene. It means he needed to be assured that no one would hurt Sonakshi and take stand for her when needed.

Moreover, Bijoy is not against romance since we have seen him being romantic towards Asha many a time. I mean he was happy when Dev and Sonakshi had scurried to the resort furtively. He was the one who suggested Devakshi to get close for the birthday picture as well. So he is definitely not against romance.

He is now against Sonakshi being romantically involved with Dev only. He fears Sonakshi becoming weak in love with Dev and in that process getting him and herself hurt.

But you are right that Sonakshi feels like she will become weak if she considers her feelings for Dev.
