@Melliflous and @Diksha. In this season according to the CVs 3 things are supposed to happen --

1) Ishwari realizing her insecurities, the consequences of it, and the redemption by which she goes from being the MIL to her DIL to being a mother to the daughter.

2) Dev will learn to be happy by himself and take "right decisions" because they are "right" and not influenced by others. He will start making his own decisions without being blinded by faith and not trying to please everyone.

3) Sonakshi will learn the dilemma that Dev faced when he had to choose between Ishwari and herself. Understand what Dev went through during the marriage phase.

In the current storyline, Dev is still trying to please everyone and is not making his own decisions. He is still dependent on either Sonakshi or Ishwari to take decisions. He needs to stop trying to keep everyone happy at the cost of losing his happiness. Maamaji had once told him that he also has the right to be happy and live like others. The decision of remarriage is Ishwari's. He wants to be with Sonakshi but is not able to because of her decision. Here he is not paying attention to what he wants and his happiness. He still is trying to keep everyone happy and in a way is not taking responsibility of himself and his life. Through this track he will learn to say "No" and make his own decisions in regards to his life.

Similarly Sonakshi has not understood why Dev did the things he did. Although she accepts that she made mistakes, she doesn't fully grasp Dev's dilemma and his vulnerabilities. Right now she is in the exact same place Dev was when he had to choose between Ishwari's happiness and his own. He couldn't make his happiness a priority over his mom's life. Sonakshi is placed at that point right now. She has to review her feelings. She thinks that loving Dev and then marrying him was a mistake. And that she has now moved on. But with the possibility of losing Dev forever, she is now forced to reflect on what she wants in life. She has to start reviewing her actions and retrospect the consequences of her actions. In a way own her true feelings. Something that she has not done for a long time now.

The result of this track will be as Ishwari predicted. That when Dev and Sonakshi come together this time, they will never separate. Both of them will be ready to take responsibility of their relationship and face the consequences together, be it positive or negative. They won't blame each other for any of the negative results. Both will learn to lean on each other as needed and also take lead accordingly. They will learn to live their lives and not the life defined by parents. They will realize their dreams and not let anyone interfere with their lives. 😃

Can someone answer this question!!..
I am still not able to understand Jatin's role in the show..😕
I thought he will be the one who will make Sona introspect or play cupid..but that is not happening..
Anyone can understand his role?😳

I think Jatin will help Sona in realizing her true feelings for Dev. And most importantly, he will play a big influence on Bijoy as Bijoy treats Jatin like his son.

Read some or most of the views here and also in the main forum( hope I won't be asked to provide the link) that Iswari is meddling with Dev and Sona's future again by forcing them and even involving Soha. One day back even I thought those two needed time and space and Iswari should stay back. I even said so here but now I changed my mind.

I don't think Iswari should be blamed for what she is doing for them. Standing in her place I can feel her genuine wish to see them together. Apart from her guiltyness for separating them she now feels if she leaves them as they are being friends,shuffling between IN and Bose house it will continue till the end. Sonakshi will never think of going against Bijoy. Leave alone going against him,she won't even try to expose Dev's genuine love and care for her in words or in actions. She will prefer to keep the matters untouched and unaddressed. At the most she may defy him to go with Dev on a drive or for a coffee date but not more than that. Reason? She still is not sure of Dev and their future together

.Shaavi assessed her mindset perfectly. So it is highly possible that she will continue with the current status of their equation . I can't understand why Sona is staying with Boses when Soha is in IN. She is the one who proposed the rule She is the one who extended her stay there. So what happened to Soha's demand that she will stay only with both her parents? She looks fine even if Sona is not with her. Tomorrow Dev may hold back from going to Bose house. Ofcourse he won't do so and Iswari won't ask him to stay back.

Coming to Iswari,she is on the other side of sixties. Even Dev also is nearing forties I presume. So she may be concerned of the fact that she has only a limited time span to see her son happily enjoy family life. She just wants to push them and make them realise that both are indespensible to each other. She did not involve Soha intentionally. It was Dev who raised the issue. Ofcourse Soha should not be stressed or forced to think and make a choice. It is a sensitive issue. So I found Iswari not manipulative this time.

If Sonakshi or Dev does not want others to meddle in their issues they should learn to be upright and expressive regarding their feelings. They should make it clear before Iswari and Bijoy that they are able to tackle their issue. Until then they have to cope up with interferences and unwanted intrusion from both sides. Today Iswari asked Sona to look for a life partner for Dev,tomorrow Bijoy may actually demand Sona to move on...ofcourse with Jatin.

I must say reading the writeups n discussions here makes me experience that im watching the show which im not this week n until the end of Ramadan...im seeing the characters thru u guys n still i feel so connected n involved...Thanku all!

Confusion solved Grace.. I rewatched that accident episode ( ep 43) Driver saying to dev as sona's "ghar raste me hai aur 10 mnts ka rasta hai ". Sona too assured dev that "ghar nasdeeq hai, mein chali jaungii ". So yes ..their houses r close by . 😃 Thanx to @ sweetyidiot for mentioning that accident scene .

But in that vaishno devi return scene , mamiji was asking to the driver that y he was taking that route so as to show bangalan's house .May b that's a short cut that's y driver took that route.

Wen sona came to delhi with soha for the first time, they took a deviation & passed thru the road in front of ishwari nivas. That means there r multiple roads that connects IN n Bose house , short as well as long routes. I meant may b one road that connects IN n Bose house but multiple roads leading to this one making it long as well as short 😛

Aarcha...Ek aur scene hai. When Dev breaks Sona's phone and next day while elena is waiting for auto, on the way to his office, Dev passes by and that is when his car collides with Elena. ye KRPKAB bhi na, hume paagal kar denge...😆. Shooting location wise, Sona ka ghar nazdeeq hai maalum hote hue bhi, story mein kaisa hai patha lagane ke liye hum kitne episodes rewatch karenge?😕

Adding to what Shaavi has mentioned on why Ishwari's push is needed to bring out the real feelings of Dev & Sona to the forefront, I would say, that is where the recent chupa-chupi khel has a significant role.

As the game starts with Ishwari as the seeker, Dev sends Sona in his opposite direction (similar to how they parted their ways pre-leap).

Then it is shown, Sona comes back to where Dev has decided to hide and hides behind/with him (similar to how Sona came back to Delhi and after the initial fights & Khatri issue, is now seen to be walking with him)

But later, on her insistence, they decide to change their hiding location and in the process Sona gets hurt. Sona's painful sound is heard by Ishwari and she comes in their direction searching for the hiding party, but stops seeing Dev & Sona being in their world, playing friendship game.

That was the symbolic part to what is playing out in the current episodes. Dev & Sona are hiding their feelings from others - Dev hiding it beneath his promise to Sona that he will never again talk about their union and Sona hiding behind the mask she put on when she promised Bijoy that she will never have a relation with Dev.When we are playing the hide & seek game, the hiders are either found by the seeker or the hiders themselves have to come out. In Dev-Sona's case, they will never come out because of the promises they have made. So, the only option is to find them out. That's what Ishwari is doing now. Somehow, Ishwari has sensed Sona's pain (in Monday's episode, Ishwari remembers the fateful day when Dev told Sona to go away, followed by the dialog 'vo bichari dar gayi he') - and it has got her attention. So, on the basis of the clue she got, Ishwari is now moving in the direction to find them out. But midway, she will be stopped to give Dev & Sona their own time. After which kids will join Ishwari in her happiness and as the light comes back, the real Dev & Sona will be revealed to the whole world.

Also, after Dev's confession on the tyre-changing day, it is Sona who has insisted that they will remain friends forever. Now that they are roaming around without any hindrance in this friendship phase, Sona should get hurt to blurt out her pain to Dev. So, with this match-making game, Sona is going to get hurt and that's when she will pour her out to Dev. After that, Dev is going to take the lead and first thing he will do is to relieve Sona from Bijoy's promise. And all this while, Ishwari will only be a spectator like us, enjoying this phase...😊

Hope this makes sense and help those who are not happy with the current track, to get relaxed...😊
