Chapter 5:
At night,
Sonakshi talked to her parents. She told everything that happened in these 2days. She seemed very happy. All these were noticed by Dev. Both their homes were nearby. As the windows were of transparent glass, one can see the other if screens were not closed.
Even their bedrooms were opposite to each other. So, Dev was watching Sonakshi from his bedroom. Her cute antics didn't go unnoticed by Dev. He was some mesmerized in her.
Only then reality stuck his mind. He understood it's bad to watch her like this. So he went near the window closed his screen and lied on bed. Soon sleep took over him.
The next day, Dev soon got ready for office. Here, Sonakshi was also getting ready. She knew she was very late. It's her second day and she was so late. She came out of the house and was locking it.
Here Dev was ready to office in his bike. He saw Sonakshi and wished him. He also said that she is getting late.
Sonakshi :yeah Dev. I know I am late. I don't know what my team leader will say. Yesterday itself he told that I should not be late. But see now I am late. I don't know what to do.
Dev : oh I see. Sonakshi I know u r leader is very strict in rules. By the way, if you wish, I can help you. You can accompany me to the office.
Sonakshi :that's so nice of you Dev. But how can I come with you in bike. I mean...
Dev: oh god. I am Sorry Sonakshi
. I know you are not comfortable
. Wait a minute I'll come now.
Saying this, he went with his bike, parked it, took his car and came.
Sonakshi was very surprised.
Dev:I know we have met only 2days back. Though I am in your team you will not be comfortable in coming with me in bike. That's why I took my car. Now I don't think you will be having anything problem.
Sonakshi :umm...
Dev:if you are not interested in this drive, then tell me, I don't wanna force you..
Sonakshi doesn't answer.
Dev:Sonakshi, what happened.
Sonakshi :No nothing. Actually you just reminded me of someone.i have already heard this dialogue from someone.
Dev remembers he had already told this to her, when they talked first at phone.
Dev: oh someone. Who's it.
Sonakshi :I'll tell you at the right time. OK so, shall we go. It's getting late.
Dev:so you are coming.
Sonakshi :ofcourse Dev, I am coming. My team leader has asked me to come soon.
Sonakshi sits inside the car. They both got to the office. Their team members were surprised today see both coming together. To avoid anyway awkward situation Dev, told the entire fiasco. Then they started their work.
As Sonakshi was new to their team, she used to spend more time with Dev to understand the concepts. But whenever she talked to Dev, she was always reminded of her fiance.
Within few days they had became close. Once in a week, they go to their favourite ice-cream shop nearby. They sit and chat there for a long time. They started understanding each other. There were so many things in common between them.
While, Dev was happy in spending time with Sonakshi, She thought she had found a true friend in Dev. She thought it's high time that she has to tell about her marriage to him.
But Dev, he was growing more fond or Sonakshi. He didn't realise when she had become so important to him. She had become more than a friend to him in no time.
One fine day, all the team leaders working in their office where asked to go to pune for some official work. Dev could not deny it. He informed his colleagues and went to home to get ready.
Sonakshi also finishes her works and goes to dev's home. She helped him in packing stuffs. He told that he will lock home and come. She went to her home. Dev, after locking came to her home. He gave her spare keys of his home and asked to keep it with her.
Dev:Sonakshi, I have told priya to come and pick you up up to the office.
Sonakshi :why do yourself worry Dev. I could have managed.
Dev:it's not like that Sonakshi. Though you now know very well about this area, you can't take risk. That's why. Andrew by the way, I will miss you so much. Everyday, we will go together to office, eat together, go to the ice-cream shop. I was used to this. Now I will be missing this. This had become a daily routine for me and I will miss it.
Sonakshi :Dev, don't worry. You will become back within a week.
Dev:will you not miss me.
Sonakshi :yeah I will miss you. I will miss a very good friend.
Dev's pov:
Sonakshi still thinks me as a friend. Am I only a friend to her. Doesn't she feel like how I feel for her.
God, what's this. What am I thinking. Dev, concentrate on your work. You have to go.
Dev: OK Sonakshi. Bye we'll meet later.be safe.
Sonakshi :bye Dev. Take care.

Dev misses Sonakshi. But what does Sonakshi feel.
Chapter 6:
The next day,Dev reached pune. He thought of calling Sonakshi. So he checked time. As it was too early, he didn't call her. Then he went to freshen up.He waited for some time and called her. But her phone was switched off. He got tensed.then he thought that her battery could have been dead. So, he ignored his thought and went for breakfast.
Again, he called her. But it was not reachable. He got very tensed. He immediately called priya. Because he had told priya to pick Sonakshi up for the office.
Dev:hello priya.
Priya :hi Dev. Have you reached pune
Dev:yeah I have reached. And I am having my breakfast.
Priya:oh OK.
Dev's pov:oh God. Now how will I ask her about Sonakshi. If I ask her directly, then she'll have a doubt. What shall I do.
Dev:umm.. Didn't you go to office. Did you pick Sonakshi up.
Priya:umm... Fever...
Dev:what fever... Sonakshi is having fever...
Priya :relax Dev. She is not having fever. I am suffering from fever.
Dev:oh God. Sorry priya. How are you now. You were fine yesterday right.
Priya:yeah. I was fine yesterday. It's just because of climate change. I'll be fine within evening. Don't worry.
Dev:mmm.ok.take care. Ask permission from hr and take leave. OK.
Priya:yeah. I'll do that. Thank you Dev.
Dev:it's OK. Priya.
Priya:oh yeah. I forgot to tell you something. Sonakshi had asked me to tell you.
Flashback:
Priya:Sonakshi, hr has given all the freshers off for 4days.
Sonakshi : oh is it. BTW why off suddenly.
Priya:sonakshi,as you know all the team leaders have gone to pune and freshers are under the control of them, they cannot follow the proceedings. That's why, 4days off for freshers.
Sonakshi : OK thank you priya. Gud night.
Priya :gud night.
After few hours
Sonakshi :hello priya. It had been so many days since I have met my family. So I thought I would go to my home.
Priya:ok Sonakshi. It's a good idea. You go.
Sonakshi :thank you priya. Actually I called Dev, but his phone was not reachable. Will you please inform him. Because when he will land, I will be travelling. So I cannot talk. That's why.
Priya:it's fine Sonakshi. I'll inform him. Don't worry. Have a safe journey .
Sonakshi :thanks priya. Bye
At present :
Dev: oh it's OK priya. I'll talk to her.
Priya :ok Dev. Bye.
Dev:bye priya. Take care.
Dev's pov:
oh that's why she was not attending my calls. It's OK. Let her go. She hasn't met her family since long.
OK let me call maa and ask whether sona has arrived.
Dev:hello maa. I am Dev.
Elena :hello jiju. It's me, Elena.
Dev: oh hi ele.how are you. Will you mind if I call you ele.
Elena :No no jiju. Until now only sona Di was calling me ele.but now you are going to be her husband. My only jiju. You have full rights calling me ele.vaise,i don't like any other person except my sona Di calling me ele.but from now you also can call me ele.ok

Elena :they have gone to market and left the phone at home.

Sonakshi hasn't arrived yet. That's why did not tell anything. I think sona has not informed about her visit to home.
At Sonakshi 's home:
The door bell rings.
All are in the hall.
Elena opens the door and screams.
Bijoy :Elena why are you screaming like this. Who' s there on the door.
Sonakshi : papa. It's me.
Bijoy :Sona's voice. Is it sona Elena.
Asha:yes Bijoy. It's her. Co. Come fast.
Sonakshi :maa papa I missed you so much.
Bijoy :we too beta.
They allows have a group hug. Elena brings juice for sona.
Elena :sona Di. Have it. You're have come from long.you will be tired.
Sonakshi :thank you ele.
Elena :BTW your surprise was very nice. Why didn't you tell us before.
Sonakshi :yesterday only I got to know that I have got an off for 4days . Because all the team leaders have gone to pune. So I thought I would come here. How was my surprise.
Asha:it's awesome sona. OK go get freshen up. I'll give something to eat.
Sonakshi : OK maa.
Saying this, she tried calling Dev to inform him.
Elena :maa. I forgot to tell you. Today jiju called when's you're went to market.
Asha:what did he tell.
Elena:nothing maa. He just called casually. And asked about us. Like everyday.
Sonakshi :so he is calling you and talking daily and you didn't tell me about this.
Bijoy :Sona, you like to talk to Ishwari ji, the same way, Dev like to talk to us daily . I told you before itself. He is also like you. A very good gentleman.
Sonakshi 's pov:
yeah yeah. That's right. He is very good from heart
Meanwhile, Dev attends the call.
Sonakshi :hello Dev. Have you reached pune.
Dev:yeah. I had reached morning itself. I called you but it was not reachable. That's why couldn't talk to you.
Sonakshi : oh OK. Even I want to say something. I have come to my home to visit my family.
Dev :yeah priya told me. Don't worry. You enjoy yourself with your family
You have met them after so long.
Sonakshi :mmm.yeah.
Asha :Sonakshi. With whom are you talking from such a long time beta.
Sonakshi :maa. I am talking to my friend cum team leader,dev.he has gone to pune and I didn't inform him about my sudden visit here.
Elena :oh Dev jiju.
Sonakshi :yeah Dev. I am talking to Dev. OK.
Wait. What did you tell now. Dev jiju.
You told Dev jiju right.
Dev, Asha, Bijoy and Elena were shocked to answer.
