Bold - Regarding Dev-Ish bond, I never felt it OTT, except when Ish was shown as a jealous lover who didn't like Dev calling Asha, Maa...And, moments I disliked her is when she used the situations of Devakshi fights to distance them away - like sending Sona to her mayka on two occassions & cancelling Sona's candle light dinner plan at home and telling her to go & take rest. But, I never hated her, because I could identify with her insecurities, as I myself have witnessed such a thought process in widowed mothers who have struggled a lot for their kids in real life. The only difference was that in all those cases, sons were not like puppets in their mother's hands; but at the same time they could give the assurance to their mothers that they will never be abandoned. In Ishwari's & Dev's case, this didn't happen. And that's what the makers are trying to convey to such sons & mothers - that, 'A stitch in time saves nine'...😊

Red - Yes, lots of directional flaws in the last 2 episodes.

Absolutely grace I totally understand Ish and her insecurities. But my prob is with the constant glorification and the colossal screen space the bond takes.

For eg:Now Asha-Sohas bond,Jatin-Sohas bond ,Dev-Sohas bond,Sona-Sohas bond everything has taken a back seta.

Its all abt Ish,that matters.

If makers keep a balance here ppl would have liked Ish better.Who wants to see a lot of negativity.

Bold - Becca, my hubby and my brother in law are into their late forties. Still, they use to lie in their mother's lap; go and sleep with her, getting tucked inside her arms or sometimes viceversa. Whereas, in my home, calling us lovingly using pet names itself is a rare chance. For that reason, I am not much expressive with my son, whereas my hubby is 24x7 behind our 16-yr old son, pampering him to the most, which he himself doesn't like at times. So, that doesn't mean the way my hubby & his brother express their love for their mother is wrong. It all depends on the way we & our parents got bonded while growing up.
