Well, it's heart breaking. But it's real. This is how parents are, may be indians.. I am sure most of the children go through this. Parents think they have complete control over their children.. concept of arrange marriage is still consider Ed good over love marriage. This is the upbringing since ages. I hope dev this time be strong and does what is right for him .

I think it's hard for viewers to accept that 30+ yr old adults are being manipulated & how. I don't even feel sorry for devakshi now because they are letting themselves be manipulated time & again esp dev & I feel if he does not stand up for himself this time I am ready to give up.

I was feeling like crying while watching Devkshi in this situation. 😭
They have just started behaving normally with each other, only as Soha's parents and may be friends. It was so good to see them in fight free zone and tada their parents dropped the bomb.
They both will die million deaths inside and their maiya and baba can do victory dance on their graves.
I feel so bad for both of them.

Same here Charu😭
It hurts to see them struggle so much just for the simplest happiness..They aren't even asking for anything extravagant.

Hi Saumiee...

I am sure most of us here echo your thoughts...I do 100%. I think this is probably the exact message CV's are trying to convey to the viewers too...that how over-protectiveness and confidence over their decision making skills for their children, make some of the parents become a hurdle to their children's genuine happiness. The most important thing here is that the so called children are adults in their 30's!

I was not at all surprised at the way Ishwari behaved today...she was just being herself...exactly how has she has always been! But, I was surprised at this dialogue from Bijoy when he said bachche itne bade hogaye hain ki apne decisions khud le rahe hain...When does he think he can call them grown-up's😕

Anyways...I am happy that the story is atleast moving forward...lets wait & see what's in store for us next.😃

As usual lovely post Saumiee🤗

Shreya 😊

Hi Shreya!
Thanks a lot🤗
Yes I totally agree with you..Maybe the CVs exactly want to focus on this aspect of a parent-child relationship. The irony here is that here the parent thinks that there is no other well-wisher as them and that they are doing it in the best interest of their child, the purpose of this interference by Bijoy and Ishwari is satisfaction that they are fulfilling the responsibility as a parent but they are doing exactly opposite. Literally crushing whatever contentment is left in their lives.
I am super excited too..To witness this track, for it involves Angst, pain, hurt, love everything..😳

When we see such emotion we realize what wrong or what right we actually are doing. With such a great actors this is going to be worth seeing track and very much learning too.

Thanks you so much Samm😊
It is a pleasure to have someone share the same thoughts as you. Yes, they are successful in portraying some of the very intricate details of a relationships subtly.
Indeed it is a learning experience of what to do and what not do...

It was such an emotional episode, how can they do it to Dev and Sona? They are just trying to be good son and daughter and the parents just take advantage of that? Really sad.

Thank you😳
Yes, it is sad to see Dev and Sona being so devoted for their families , yet the parents so blind to even see where their happiness lies.

Will be back after reading ypur post..Its trucky situation but parents have theor own worries and concerns..Theor kids are grown ip but they will not stop worrying for them wont stop fretting because of them wont stop suggesting them even some time and certain ones wont stop pushing them to agree with them

Parents are not enemies..They look like one in this situation thoigh sighh lol

Super exhausting emotionally. .But definitely a 10/10.
Obviously mahua, Parents are not enemies. Had they been enemies, wouldn't it be a lot simpler to just curse them for sabotaging Devakshi's happiness. But because they are parents, they love them, wish well for them, so it is a million times more difficult for Devakshi to just get over this. They can't upset them..That's where the problem lies.

My heart went out for Dev and Sona today... The way Sona was controlling her emotions while promising Bijoy was very heart-wrenching.. Today's episode would be emotional as well... 😭
Both of them are sacrificing their feelings for their respective parents. It's a reality also. It happens in most of the families.

Honestly I too love today's episode. People are bashing Ishwari but today she was not at all manipulative. What she said is correct. She admitted that she was the reason behind Dev and Sona's breakup but at the end it is they who are more responsible. They should have balanced it out which they failed.
But best part was Convo between Sona and Bijoy. The way this girl was handling her father is awesome. I MISS MY DAD TODAY SO MUCH. I too share this kind of bond with him. I love this character. Sona's humble and subtle behaviour is worth watching. I am truly loving this show again.

Samm,
I slightly disagree with you here😊 Ishwari is not a GKB kind of plotter but she did manipulate Dev to convince him for marriage. Yes, she does acknowledge that she had her part in the separation but she does not regret it. Her admittance was more to emotionally weaken Dev and convince him indirectly that he and Sona were never compatible, she still supports them..And it will be better if he now chooses his life partner according to Ishwari's assessment.
About Sona's behavior, I totally agree with you dear..I understand how emotional it must be for you to see that conversation. I too loved the way Sona tackled Bijoy so calmly and even a very furious Bijoy had his body language like a kid.
