Now this was the question i exactly had it after watching the episode cos i was pretty confused n in 2 minds.. ..Though i liked the episode but then i felt why the wait for 7 long yrs if they could have met once or twice n resolved it cos they understand pretty each other well...Thy still have that love n place one above the other...Im sure one push from Asha or Mamaji would have done the trick ...My concern is still the same Why the little girl had to suffer in this mess?..Now tats regarding story n drama wise...

If i see this as a business descion by the makers to break the monotony...Then they headed for this bringing the excitement factor by separating the leads n adding the freshness in the form of kids..Tats why the leap..!

So u see these 2 things dont match up exactly in my mind ...Either this or that..😆

May be shaheer got bored of the monotonous formal costumes that dev used to wear. He wanted to wear some cool dresses. But makers gave him the "na nahaya Hua" look. Aur Erica Ki toh waatt hi lag gayi. Aise costumes Jo paataal lok Mein bhi pehen ne se log darr jayenge. Leap was not required

For those who watched The Kapil Sharma show 21st bday celebrations where our leads were also present, he made a comment about introduction of leap in tele serials which was hilarious then but i saw it happening exactly in KRP..
