The whole issue with Ishwari's character is we only see Dev doing Maa Maa, Maa is grt..blah blah. We never see Ishwari actually doing anything to justify Dev's blind love and worship. I understand we had FB earlier but then it is the past and the more recent past is Dev-Sona break up bcoz of the prenup.
The day Ishwari truly does something worthwhile instead of everyone else just praising her for being a mother, I'll like her. I'm a mother too. I cant take it when another mother blackmails her son in the name of motherhood. Its too insulting. And I never see her motherly instincts for Sona, not even her sympathy for her in those 7 yrs when Sona was a single mother.
Sona too toiled for 7 yrs, I understand how much it takes for a working mother to balance all, even with family support, bcoz ther are always somethings which only a mother can do for her child. I don't see Sona preaching it every now and then. So, why do I get to see every other character praising Ishwari for being a mother? I got it she fought single handedly and so God gave her reward-- Dev Dixit. Can we end it there? This whole Maa-Beta scenes are only irritatingly annoying 😡
