Dev and Ish are same ... they only want to rule and possess... they never realize anyone's worth.

See they were in so much poverty ... and that money passion and obsession was in thier mind a lot...Dev earned so much ... and Ishwari was guarding it ... she looked Sona as an outsider always ... if ever she thought if her daughter happened to sign an agreement before marriage will she do that ...no only money mattered to her ... I can quote lot of instance from this serial for this obsession and want to posses nature ...

These two don't know what's love what's affection ... what's that in giving what pleasure you get in accepting a person as themselves... without making them bend for you...accept people as they are ...
Dev didn ask Sona to bend ... but he didn value her values and her way of things... that's why during the infertility track he talked one thing inside and in front of everyone he couldn't express his opinion also... he valued only his Mother's feelings and opinions...

Me and my mil have a lot of contrasting natures ... cooking ... dressing ... doing pooja ...money and lot of things ...but from the beginning she or my fil have not asked me to give up my wishes or my way of doing things ... nor I have asked them to do ... According to the time and place we do small adjustments and see that things go smoothly. Respect for everyone's value and wishes matter the most ...

Had Sona tried to do anything that night just similar to Ishwari what he would have done??

Father figure, Godfather - whatever you call it, Jatin's importance in Soha's life and mind is driving him jealous and crazy. But as Dev himself says - how one addresses somebody doesnt matter (Naam mein kya rakkha hai 😛 😆 ). Now it's altogether a different story that being the hypocrite that he is, calling Asha maa-aunty-maa, dying to hear 'Papa' from Soha or now the word Godfather makes him go all bull or boohoo (depending on which side of his split personality is dominant at that point of time) 😆

Lalsunvid - True that. It's the feeling of owning/possessing someone which always overpowered his mind which made him devoid of any understanding towards people around him.



Sona - He loves her. Hence he owns her. How could she leave him ? Didnt Sona sign the 'Forever in service' form the moment he hugged her? She wants right, equality in household chores, swings, wall decors, lights - how on earth ? He is the owner, how could Sona get a voice ?



Ishwari - Mommy doesnt accept Sona and wants some time ? How ? This relationship is very special though, it's a mutual sense of possession unlike with Sona. So where even I belong to my Mommy (read she owns me), even Mommy has to do whatever I say i.e. shoving the love of my life down her throat despite repeated warnings from my gf.



The only thing he ever loved truly and considered a different entity was his company (not his employees or secretary though 😆 ) Well this is why I wanted Dixits on streets since last 6-7 months. That's the only thing which they love and only if that's robbed off them, they would get some life lesson, nothing else will !

After all Dev-Ish comes from somewhere, where their emotional bonding is the world's perfect and special one... And mothering is all what Ish knows and what she knows is the best that's what Dev has seen to follow blindly without any thought of his own - possessive, obsessive, over-indulgence, etc to create an individual who is completely dependent on each other. And yeah Sona can't blame them because that's what they know about motherhood... And Sona has seen in her family and understood with her own thought process for motherhood - caring but not over indulging, loving not like a material obsession/possession but giving individual space considering them as a human to create an individual who is complete on their own independently... Why should Dev-Sona compromise and adjust on their own values of parenting... Ideally both should give space for each other's parenting to help Soha get both sides of her parents' world but don't think Dev-Sona can be cordial enough to not force each other's views on the other 😆

Dev-Ish force Sona to change her ways of parenting to follow their way of parenting, but Sona being Sona wouldn't want to upbring another Dev in Soha 😆 Being adamant and too proud and not adjusting 🤪, Sona can walk out leaving Soha under the custody of Dev-Ish - Of course for Soha's sake because she wants to enjoy the pampering of her best pappa and best granny... 😉

Sona indulges herself in work (she's not good enough to stray around with random men 😉) and ends up spending more time at office and meetings... Yes, Jatin is there... They hang around more than earlier, more than like friends... Like strength for each other giving company in trying to be contended with whatever they had and have and help each other in moving on... And slowly getting pleasure in each other's company... Admiring each other's support and strength shared... And getting attracted towards each other by their mere presence next to each other - holding hands, eye stares, shoulder shares, etc...

And climax can be - A running Soha towards them who is unable to take the suffocating love of Dev-Ish... 😆😆

But, Dev is worse than Amrish Puri! Uske mooh se 'Ja jee le apni Zindagi' ke place pe 'Sonakshi aur Jatin, main tumhe meri beti chheeenne nahi doonga!' niklega!😆

Well honestly I like jealousy tracks too, but definitely not when one shouts at the top of their lungs to clarify the things. I had been a fan of one Balaji shows which maintained a triangle for 7-8 yrs long run. If you see the female lead behaviours specially after marriage, that would be questionable. But I dont get this type of crazy thought that Dev possesses that no matter howmuchever shitty way he treats Sona and he himself spends nights in hotel rooms, Sona should stick to his memories and never marry or move on with someone else.
