a) Dev needs some smart ass comments back. His attitude is just sooo immature. Loved SONA's comeback and I hope the CVs keep it coming!

b) Poor insecure Dev - will succumb Mummy chabi, Vicky chabi, now GKB chabi! Seriously - is he such an idiot!!

c) Love Jatin-Sona-Soha.. Just sooo cute. perfect understanding, friendship and support. Soha is one lucky kid. Sona --> just move on and marry the guy!

d) Dev with his shabby clothes and very shaggy hair and unshaven look is not exactly as drool-worthy sorry. The pony tail is funny from some angles... can someone get him a makeover and get a clothes donation drive started?-I always liked the stubble look of Dev.It gave him the intense look which he lacked in S1.But those cheap lafanga low neck Tshirts(nooo). And that disgusting pony, and totally unshaven look is just not cool.I liked him in the award show sequence.Shaheer looked best there with light stubble and minimal makeup.

I can't wait to see SOHA back and putting GKB-Ish-Dev in place. If these next few episodes become back to Dixit Horror House -- I'll skip again... I can't take all that anymore. we had enough of it in S1.

>>> All in all, Jatin-Sona... sigh :0. DevD -- whatever! GKB --- can I just forward on youtube? Elena --- really? CVs -- we can't buy it. And mama ji --- serial ka gap filler.. usual meaningless.. sooo average to below average episode...

Yep. I absolutely agree. The problem with Elena and Asha are that they both see how Dev behaves with them and pass judgment based on that. It's like Ishwari saying that his son worships women and treat them with utmost respect at all times because that's how he treats her.

But the thing is that despite Asha saying that only a wife can tell how her husband is, she and Elena continue to advise Sona on what she should do. I mean let's face it. If they could stay together, they won't have been divorced naa.

Here she is warning Sona about the family and there she expects Sona to give her company and live her life like an outsider which she is getting sick and tired of. W*F?

Seriously I mean CVs do they even think logic before writing a scene.Much as i understand Soha needs a family,Dev has miles to go before he becomes a good husband.

He is so mean to Sona nowadays.Sona is not the lying down types which is why she left the marriage. So according to Indian standards she is not a good woman.

Whereas Asha with all her sensible nature is a little traditional in her thinking,or like u said she is not seeing the side of Dev which Sona is seeng. Why cant she think once if reconciliation had any possibility Sona would have given it a shot. She comes across as self centered in her sensibilities as well.

I agree with Ananya's comment on Erica's special expertise on enacting the emotional scenes. It's such refreshing thing to see in Indian Television that a heroine is not sitting with a bucket of tissue paper or table cloth to wipe her tears in every scene where she is victimized. This is one reason despite all stupidity and insesitivity of Sona towards her parents, I cannot help but appreciate the woman. If and when DevIsh and co. will realize her worth, it wont be due to her crying victim and sympathy, but would be genuine. But there is an equally or higher chance of DevIsh being from the mediaval period might never understand the strength and depth of such character. Girls, according to them, should feel sad in every step of life for not being able to please around or sacrifice themselves for others' happiness or should cry for help being the weaker sex since that helps greatly to stroke the male ego 😃 . Sona failed to please Dixits and quit, boohoo bad woman, Soha is ill and Sona is not creating ruckus instead behaving normally, boohoo bad mother, Sona is not asking for help even when rightfully help can be expected when injured as part of humanity, why Sona no ask for help, boohoo ask for help ask for help, cry 😭 .

If it was not my precious macbook or LCD, I swear I would have smacked the head of these MCP Ishwari and Dev and Dixits long back 😆

I can't buy that. Sorry.

Lot of blins supporters of Dev i tell u.Hes not even looking that great on screen now.Even then I wonder why??
Some justifications are preposterous. Dont read them for ur own sanity.

The story of my journey with Dev Dixit.

Ladies and gentlemen!! What you are about to read is a heart wrenching story in which a poor viewer(read Ashi) gets tormented by a TV character.

So the story begins in 2016 when a simple, unsuspecting viewer with the name of Ashi began watching KRPKAB and got introduced to a character named Dev Dixit. The post below describes the various phases of the viewer's relationship with Dev.So here I present you 50 Shades of Dixit

Phase 1

Dev was a promising character. He was like a breath of fresh air.He was charming and sweet.Yes he had his own share of flaws but that made him realistic. He understood the value of relationships. He was devoted to his mother but that devotion and love was justified. He had found happiness when he fell in love with Sonakshi. She had filled his life with colors. In Natasha's case, though I really felt bad for Natasha yet we cannot ignore the fact that he had dealt with her in a sensible manner and not unceremoniously like Sona dealt with Ritvick. Now it was expected from him that when his mother would oppose to his relationship with Sona he would handle her maturely. He would act like an adult and convince Ishwari to accept his relationship. As a viewer I had expected Dev and Sona to act like a team and convince Ishwari.

Phase 2

This is when the first crack in his character happened.Instead of standing up and fighting for his love,he turned spineless and left Sona in order to cater to his mother's whim.Leaving Sona was not the solution. It was Ishwari who needed counselling. But Dev refused to see this.At this point the viewer observes that Dev is enslaved to his mother. He lacks the guts to fight for his love. And after he had thrown Sona out of his life,he misses her because she was something he desired. But he cannot take a stand because of his mother. Then the viewer gets to see a shocking aspect of Dev.He resorts to stalking, harassment, drinking and turns obsessive. He even attacks the professions of an innocent man (Ritvick).Towards the end of this phase,he becomes a whiny child who wants his toy at any cost and finally Mommy dearest gets it for him.Let this be noted. He took a step ahead ONLY after Ishwari gave her permission.

Phase 3

Kiddo has got his toy.Viewer has lost most of the interest in the character and is still sticking to see how Dev handles his relationships. And Dev Dixit scores a big zero in this paper. His wife is subdued and humiliated. He does nothing. The viewer expects him to adjust and understand his wife.He does nothing. The viewer expects him to become a man for once.He does nothing. The viewer is losing patience.Dev has become a ship without a mast. Finally that infertility treatment, the slap to Bijoy and the filthy, abusive words to Sona become the final nails in the coffin of the viewer's relationship with Dev.

Phase 4
Dev has become a mad, raging bull who is out of control. He gives a damn for women, behaves like a loafer and insults the woman he had once loved every time.He doesn't reflect on his mistakes.Infact he doesn't think that he has made any mistakes.

At first, viewer's blood boiled but later on the viewer got completely detached to Dev.Now Dev is dancing like a monkey and the viewer doesn't care.

However one thing which is constant in all these phases is Dev's undying love for Ishwari. His list of priorities are-
1.Ishwari
2.Himself

Moral of the story:The only person with whom Dev can be happy and whom he can make happy is Ishwari.

Yeah, I understand what kind of love Jatin and Sona can have and how that is good for both of them. That's the reason why I ship them, na!
But, then there's a reason why I was a hard-core DevAkshian.. I like jealousy and possessiveness and passion in love. I also love balance and understanding, what SoTin promise... But it's not easy to write about relationships that are so simple, yet so complex and beautiful in their own way. SoTin are kinda hard to write.

Well honestly I like jealousy tracks too, but definitely not when one shouts at the top of their lungs to clarify the things. I had been a fan of one Balaji shows which maintained a triangle for 7-8 yrs long run. If you see the female lead behaviours specially after marriage, that would be questionable. But I dont get this type of crazy thought that Dev possesses that no matter howmuchever shitty way he treats Sona and he himself spends nights in hotel rooms, Sona should stick to his memories and never marry or move on with someone else. This is nothing but double standard of the highest order dear 🥱 . I mean Sona is not even obliged to clarify things to him, he is neither her bf/fiance nor husband 😕 .

Double-standard one-sided tracks of jealousy with basically no base loathes me like no tomorrow 😆
