I am pretty sure the writers of this show add scenes on purpose to get a reaction out of viewers. The impulsive break-up, the Ritwik fiasco, accidental slap and now most incidents post leap- they add it on purpose not from the perspective of the story but just to get a reaction out of viewers. Am sure Dev did not intend to slap Bijoy. They made it look dramatic just to remind the viewers and the characters involved about the slap fiasco and get their blood boiling π I remember Yash Patnaik once said in an IV that they introduced Ritwik just to get a reaction out of fans and to see how much they love Dev-Sonakshi. You know a show is messed up when a track/character is introduced to get a reaction out of fans and not from the perspective of the story. Which is why I never take anything they show seriously. Whether its good or bad. I remember good scenes used to make me happy back in the day. Now even they dont have an impact simply because the makers dont care and dont put enough thought into any scene or character. Enough for us to be impacted or want to root for them. Am scared to even like Golu cos its only a matter of time before they destroy him too π

Exactly.. The reaction from the viewers and how they still fight for and against the character behaviors with various viewpoints in sympathy and empathy.. π The makers must sure be enjoying all this sensible drama outside the screen for the senseless drama they thrown on-screen. π

Which is just sad. For one, they are selling crap in the name of drama, And two, they are ruthlessly taking advantage of the viewer's/fan's attachment to the show/lead couple and showing whatever the hell they want. So the actors get paid, the makers make money and we are left fuming over this π I really want to analyze some aspects of the show but stop myself cos I realize its really not worth it π

Agree.. The problem with some of us as viewers is that we aren't able to tolerate the crap and seeing that it's selling.. And knowing that the mindset on watching such senseless drama is getting aligned to their junk beliefs pulling them down.. And I'm worried that there are still buyers for such low quality thought process.. π₯±

This is unpopular opinion but I have always believed Asha is partly responsible for Dev-Sona's separation. She always made Sona compromise and stopped her from expressing her issues to Dev. Which just kept building up and it reached a stage where she was just not ready to listen to Dev post that eviction and pre-nup fiasco. If they fought during the aunty fiasco, during the jhula fiasco, during the birthday fiasco or any of those other instances where they had minor issues, its possible that they would have fought then too and the MU might have been cleared. And they probably would have reconciled. Dev is the kind of guy who wouldn't understand things till it hit him or till its broken down in clear words to him. Unfortunately, Sona never did that most of the time to maintain peace thanks to Asha's interference and it all came crashing down one fine day. Point is, its okay to fight. Cos you will eventually discuss your issues and not let it fester deep within your heart. I really wish Sona spoke to Dev yesterday. Not out of anger but it was a great opportunity to point out how its infinite times tougher to tolerate his family. But to keep peace, Asha asked her to let it go. The biggest problem with Dev-Sona was always communication anyway. Oh well, they will anyway reunite and live happily ever after. Logic and introspection be damned. And I just said I wont analyze π
Thank you thank you thank you for all the love and appreciation,i feel blessedimmense gratitude
love you all more
π Asha was showered with appreciation yesterday. Atleast someone got happiness out of this π I wonder how Supriya P deals with all this. I mean her character is butchered ruthlessly and bashed the most. Am sure it must impact her even if she is paid a fortune to play such a horribly written character? Or has she finally developed a thick skin? π

I dont know. I think most ppl just watch for the actors (I know I do π). Or out of sheer habit or curiosity. I doubt ppl are even looking at this from a story point of view. Cos lets face it, its been ages since this show had a proper story π If Shaheer or Erica quit today, I want to know how many will watch or even care to root for the leads at this point. You can call it the success of the actors and their chemistry/the failure of the writers to create characters who are worth rooting for. Or their intelligence to write crap knowing the viewers/ fans will lap it up anyway thanks to the actors π And then when it gets unbearable, they will end the show with a half-baked happily ever after. Story of every single show on TV π
