This confusion is still unanswered whether Devakshi are divorced or seperated?

As Devakshi always say seperated so its very much possible that divorce never happened...

So they are still husband and wife.

If a couple is legally seperated then they are not considered as Divorced .Divorce needs to be filled legally...

When a couple is considered divorced when seperated for 7 yrs? This is when either of the partner is missing and not been traced for 7 years.. So lets say one of the partner went missing and after 3 years other partner wants to get married..then either that partner has to find his/hr missing partner living or dead, else he or she have to wait for missing partner for 7 yrs from the date of missing with FIR copies and all and then only court will grant divorce..

This I read somewhere so just thought of sharing...

So Devakshi are still legally married...and are still husband and wife...

So if tey stay together, there is nothing wrong in that...

Humm... From a legal standpoint that makes sense. Then Dev is in big trouble as a cheater for spending nights in hotel room with random women. Where would they fit in? Let's not forget if they are not divorced, Sonakshi would have filed a case on that basis already and Dev won't be asking if Sonakshi had thought about remarrying (he asked her when she was driving him to hospital).

Both Dev and Sonakshi refer to each other as ex both speak about separation but never once have they spoken about divorce so its clear they never divorced each other even Ishwari always talks about Sonakshi walking out of the marriage but never once has she spoken about divorce

so I do think they are still married though they live their separate lives

I feel this is a gap in the story. Because Sona just left dixit house after signing the prenup. And then as per story they never met. So according to me they are not legally divorced. I may be wrong , but there is nothing legally shown to prove that they are divorced. So they are separated mutually but not legally divorced

And another thing is that in the last 2 months i dont think anyone has uttered the word Divorced.

Yeah...CV's didn't thought about this perspective. If they are divorced, then those dialogues like tumne kabhi peeche mudke nahi dekha and all are also not justified as for divorce Sona would have come back to Delhi for completing legal formalities and she would have been pregnant at tht time..so the confusion..They referred them as seperated and not divorced

but asking questions like why didn't you got married is debatable..CV's have not thought about logics here...

Also if they are not divorced, then prenup is out of question and may be that is the reason Sona placed a new agreement in place...

Exactly...they never referred them as divorced...So its almost cleared that they are still legally married and can stay together..

Agreed...so they are still legally married and mutually seperated...

So if now they stay together, it won't be wrong as I read in few posts...

They are divorced, they just did not show all the formalities done on screen. Dev and Sona called each other ex wife and ex husband many times.Dev asked Sona why she didn't remarry and Ishwari and Bijoy wanted Dev and Sona to marry again respectively. This isn't possible until divorce has happened. They are definitely divorced

If they are not divorced then why Bijoy and Ishwari were talking about their remarriage and specially Bijoy. Also, Asha was saying that they were getting rishtas for Sona from long time. So, its quite possible that they are divorced. But then lets see how will they actually show it.

Nothing is clear-divorced or just separated. For that matter many threads still unresolved e.g. Neha's divorce, remarriage etc. By the way we had a spoiler that Neha would re enter the show, didn't we?
