Hello everyone. How many of you'll think that yesterday was not the first time that Dev visited that orphanage. The kids at the orphanage greeted him very warmly calling him 'uncle' and he even introduced them to Soha and Golu very lovingly.I know this has no relevance but just a thought.

A thought crossed my mind about Dev's confession to Suhana and his defense of Sonakshi about why she is right. He says that he considered himself to be a good son, brother, uncle and also a good dad, but he could not be a good husband. I was quite perplexed. What was Dev implying? The ice-cream analogy was stupid, but was Dev trying to tell Suhana that he aced all the other relationships, but failed as a husband!!! Not being a good husband has a direct implication on Sonakshi as a wife! If he could not meet her expectations or her standards, he can fail too! Was it a truthful confession that he regretted not being a good husband or was he taunting Sonakshi?

Thank you DQ. I rewatched it and I think you are right. He was kinda choked up!! 😲 . Maybe it's because Sona so easily compared them both to different flavors of ice cream and concluded that they could never mix. Poor guy!!! 😭 . I think he's totally giving up on Sona ever loving him again. . If SOJA marriage track ever comes up I think he'll be ready to let go 😭 . I'm down in the dumps now thinking about that scenario.
P.S : I know it won't go up to marriage but still I don't have to like it...

Hi !!
I think it was an honest confession and I have a few reasons for that.Remember when Dev returned
home after learning that Suhaana is his daughter. That day he hugged Ishwari and said something along the following lines-
"Aaj tera Dev ek beta, bhai aur naakam pati hone ke baad ek pita ban chuka hai".He referred to himself as a 'failed husband' that day,and most importantly there was neither Sona nor Soha there..so he wasn't trying to impress or taunt anyone.
Secondly the day after he was attacked by goons he gave it back to Ishwari in his room when she suggested remarriage for him.He defended Sona that day as well.

Watched the epi again. I think he was rolling his eyes only o.O
When Sona gave that example of ice cream flavors he looked at Sona and then turned away his head with his eyes blinking in disbelief. 😆
I don't think he was choking. :/

There was a sarcasm i felt . He is also becoming bit indifferent towards sonakshi i think as he thinks she won't love him again

Yeah.. I think he like us found that analogy stupid ... like he is inwardly thinking" can't you think of something smarter?"

Dev knows that he messed up badly as a husband. He feels that Sonakshi will never give him a second chance and hence never tries to win her again.

Joking and irritating the woman you love or showing attitude gorilla style in front of her to prove that you are the male in the relationship is different. When it comes to honest retrospection Dev has always admitted that he failed.

I don't know why people are insinuating that Dev is callous with Sonakshi, he isn't. When it matters he cares for her instantly like the earthquake or when she fainted in the Jungle. His ask for help drama started when she was safe and needed to be taken back to the camp.

He always starts showing attitude when he knows she is safe maybe to cover up the fact that he still cares a lot or is weak in front of her. Then the male gorilla comes out beats his chest and starts doing rumba.
