I am very unhappy the way they have shown Ishwari in such a poor light.
I just cannot believe a Mother can be so unbelievably bad. I am a Mother of 2 kids myself and even if I make my kids go to a restaurant of my choice, I feel bad that they are not happy. A Mother's happiness is really and truly in her children's happiness. And YES A Mother in Law's happiness is also in her son's and daughter in law's happiness. No Mother will want her son's married life to be destroyed like this. Even if her son's marriage is breaking, a Mother will want and try to help them reconcile!
Ishwari is not an insecure MIL. She is more like a pyscho person needing some serious counseling and help.
She destroyed her sons marriage!
She wants her granddaughter more so as to change her last name and raise her in a different way. I don't even see love for her grandchild. All I see is that it is my property and belongs to me! And the other reason is that me, my son and my grand child will now live happily forever!
She is so scary that had I not been married, I would almost be afraid to marry thinking that if my MIL is even 1% like Ishwari, I would rather stay single. Thankfully, this is not real! While it is true, that there may be not so good MILs out there, please remember there is Mother even in MIL. They are humans and they are women who has raised a child! Personally, the way Ishwari is portrayed in a so called realistic show, is not unacceptable to me.
