It's a story so often we see characters speak only their side of story from their perspective whereas We audience see the complete picture and can understand the characters whether they are being honest or not .The track had not been opened completely..usually makers dont show everything explicitly they leave it to the audience to judge the characters .Till now we have only seen Elena's story from her mouth which doesn't sync with the way she has behaved with her son till now so it's hard to believe she stayed back for her son .
I didnt find it hard to believe at all that she stayed for her son. just because she isnt mother of the year that doesnt mean that when push comes to shove, she wouldnt make a difficult decision when it came to her son. alcoholic mothers stay in bad marriages to keep some semblance of stability for their children. r they good mothers? no, they are alcoholics. there is absolutely no sign of elena's mental well-being having been enhanced in the dixit household. if Ish and Dev's manipulation of her in sending her to the bose household and following lack of sensitivity, is anything to go by, she has been struggling to be a member of this household as well and we havent really been shown any particular incentive that elena has evilly gained from this house. that is y i reserve my judgement for once we are shown how this has benefitted her.
Golu might not be the overachieving kid but definitely comes across as a normal kid who is naughty,playful and at times mischievous too especially coming from a dysfunctional family where parents don't have time for him and is basically a neglected kid . To certain extent the credit goes to Dev for being there for the kid even though he is not his blood . Dev is not a perfect guardian nor he claims to be one and his parenting skills is based on his past experiences.At an young age he was burdened with the responsibilities and was expected to excel in his studies because of which he lost his childhood .So he ensures Golu has a balance of both studies and play .Regarding flirting with the teacher , his intention was to get the teacher to help If the child is lacking behind other students it becomes the responsibility of the teacher to make sure the child is given extra attention or compensate with tuitions . That's what he did but in his own way .When Golu pushed Suhana we could see a sensible guardian who did the needful .
