My two cents on the post-leap track

Hi fellow forum wassis,

How are you all?

So I had stopped watching KRPKAB about a month before the leap. Why, you ask? Well, hum sabki pyaari Ishwari maat ki wajah se. She is the most negative character on the show,yet portrayed as the idol of sacrifice, love and wisdom. I despise her to the core. Ex-GKB at least kabhi kabhi funny to hoti hai. Ye maata to non-stop irritating hai.

With that said, I read the post leap written updates and I got back on the bandwagon to watch KRPKAB "assuming" that things will change. I thought now that Dev knows the prenup truth, which according to me was a nuclear bomb Ishwari was sitting on, he would be indifferent towards her and will may be understand Sona a bit. Then came in the Dev-Suha track and I though he will long o be with Sona knowing she has brought to the world the one thing he wanted to bring the family together.

But, I was wrong, very wrong.

I cannot understand how characters like Dev and Ishwari that are so flawed, lead the show??? I cannot handle them at all. Nothing has changed. Dev is still the dumb**** that he was and my cringe level shoots up to 1000 seeing Ishwari.

What I do fail to understand is why is Sona still so polite with the mother-son duo? I would have pushed them behind the bars for trying to kidnap my daughter. Why does she never bring up the fact that she was thrown out of the house by the very same lady and the man? Why does she never mention Prenup??? I mean Dev did wash his hands off any responsibility of the child whatsoever and Ishwari knew this much before Dev knew it. Dev really needs to get his head out of his ass. I mean he sees the pain of a daadi missing a poti but not of a lady giving birth to a child without the father being around, raising a child single-handed, now having to deal with all this trauma, daughter growing u without a father!!???

Does prenup hold no solid ground or I am weighing it more than it ought to be?

I cannot wrap my head around it. I read the update a few minutes ago and couldn't hold back. I am not watching again till Sona kicks the shit of the two. I am done. This baffles me. My head is hurting.

Now that my rant is done, I am going to take a deep breath, watch an episode of Friends and get back to work.
