Exactly.. If there is progress then everything would be fine and waiting makes it worthwhile.. Every episode is going down the drain with so much negativity without progress. Or if there was a progress then a big thing nullifies the progress taking back to the same place. And the screenplay should make the story lot more interesting.. here that too fails with the same sad frowning faces, philosophical dialogues with no relevance to the characters, going back and forth playing the same TRP game.. I really think that this is what the TRP aunties like... Talking about the same thing again and again.. With no surprises and changes keeping them in the comfort zone always.. These are their neighbors that they can gossip about without making them go through transformation.. The user journey is a standstill.. 😆

Remember I once compared to Ishwari's dialogues to ISIS terrorist camp? How eager she was to mould the "sangemarmar" mind of her poti? Yep. That's exactly it.

Soha for her isn't a human being, but a tool. A tool to mould into her image so that like a brainless puppet she plays the flute like a and like always Dev with brand new obsession follows her back into Ishwari's honey trap.

Same as how she had used Sonakshi once.

Do you see the similarities?

In these two situation, there were a pawn (Sonakshi, Soha), a puppet (Dev) and a puppet master (Ishwari).

So when we thought Dev changed in season 2, he didn't. He was just taking out his frustration on his mother for lack of access to his favourite whipping post Sonakshi.

Let's see here. He got his freedom to sleep around, freedom to never answer to anyone, come and go as he pleased and he gets to blame Sonakshi every time he was jerk to a woman or wanted to get rid of them and still make them feel sorry for him as in "Poor thing was married to a witch who didn't understand him."

But then Sonakshi came back. Now he had a new target. So mother is absolved. He could not tolerate that Sonakshi was happy, content and sorted person as opposed to him who is a mess.

So he continued to create trouble for her. But he was still not happy. How could he be with a shitty family?

Then he found out about Soha. He instantly liked her for the same reason he liked Sonakshi. Because she was mini Sonakshi.

Now he pinned all his happiness on Soha because unlike a wife who has a choice to run away from a bad husband, a daughter - specially a minor daughter doesn't have the choice.

So he gets to keep mini Sonakshi who can't run.

She came home and lit up the stale atmosphere of his house. Now she is also the key to his family reunion.

Mission locked and loading.

Now Dev thinks that if only he can get Soha as in mini Sonakshi, he can catch two birds with one stone.

1. Sonakshi will always be tied to him through Soha. He can continue to interfere in her life using her.

2. He now has a tool to get a happiness. This time Soha who has no escape as per law.

Remember what Elena said? "Iss family mein koi bhi kisike liye bina matlab ke kuch nehin karta."

Yep, exactly.

Had Soha not run away that day and was neutral as in neither happy nor sad, you think Dev would have given her time? He is scared of losing Soha and turning her off and that's exactly he backed off.
