I thoroughly enjoyed Suhana and Ishwari's scene today. For a change, I saw the Ishwari whom we had seen in the first 80 episodes of the show, sweet, caring and almost childlike. Ms. Junior Bose sure is a charmer, she brings out the best out of people. Every scene today was so nicely portrayed.
I have always believed that admiring and criticising characters is a part of the game. If we don't admire or criticise the track, the CVs would not get a reality check as to what is well accepted and well liked by the audience. This is a healthy relationship that the makers and the audience of a show must share.
However, what I definitely do not appreciate (and I hope you would agree) is bashing the characters and abusing them to the point that visiting this forum and reading the posts becomes a stretch! Honestly, I appreciate people who discuss, comment and share some light humour. People also write brilliant FFs. But there are some people who really abuse this freedom and use it to bash the characters.
The beauty of our show is that every character has some great virtues and flaws and a strong reason for those flaws. And that is because the show portrays humans not vampires! So obviously, in one episode, the flaws are seen and in one episode the good qualities are seen. None of the characters are Superficial or larger-than-life. They are absolutely realistic and can be seen in people around us.
In today's episode, Ishwari portrayed a troubled person and a kind and sweet lady as she is genuinely a good human being. It is unfortunate we got to see more of her flaws but it is a part of the story. Today, Dev portrayed a curious father with a longing to see his daughter. It is Human and both Shaheer and Supriya ma'am nailed their roles with their performances (need I say more?) Erica and the little girl Aliya portrayed the mother-daughter understanding so well. Jatin portrayed a friend-in-need. Bijoy and Asha were perfect concerned parents. And Golu seems to get cuter everyday!😆
But when people bash characters, it is really saddening sometimes and affects the efforts the writers and the cast and crew put on making the show.
Hence, I ask again, Am I the only one who feels bad when people abuse characters like this?
P.S. I know the message is long but this is what is happening.
