Re-quoting so that Tia doesn't have to go back and read just for this small bit.

Just a couple of things.

- SO DONE with Dev Dixit. Like you are, I'm convinced too that he'll prove himself to be a good father. But sadly, none of that or none of anything seems to evoke emotions in me for him. 😳

- Agreed with everything you said.

- I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Tia! Have a safe and great trip! 🤗 You'll be missed while you are not around but thankfully, we have Ayesha and others to take care of your good work. 😳

Dictionary should have a picture of DevIsh in front of the word self-obsessed. Only thinking about their happiness and when things don't go according to them, blame somebody and if the fault lies in self(which let's be honest is the case almost every time with them) then blame their luck. But never even consider the possibility of being wrong.

Dev would doubt Sonakshi's words in a second but he would believe his mother who has a history of lying & deceiving him. He was angry & anguished that he lost precious time with his daughter but not at the person who was responsible for it.He chose to understand Ishwari and not confront her about it.But it was so easy for him to shout and manhandle Sonakshi for the same reasons.

Dev has again proved what Sona's value was in his life. Didn't he say just yesterday that "he would have forgotten everything & sab theek ho jata"? And today when he talks about the time that has been lost,he never mentions Sona even once in that .Now that Sona had served her purpose of delivering a baby, the baby is all that he needs & wants to be happy.

He never thought what Sona must have gone through but continued pondering over his own misery. Is he really that different from Ishwari when he too requires one person for being his reason to live? He chose Sona for that earlier, then Golu was a temporary placement and now it's Soha. He is willing to put her feelings first right now and I hope that he continues to do so without forcing his expectations on her.

Sonakshi is one compassionate and dignified woman⭐️. She still has it in her to feel sad for the man who has done nothing but hurt her, disrespect her & humiliate her. She only wanted to do what was good for Soha and kept her feelings aside.

BTW I was thinking of something. Why does Dev consider his mother as God???

It's because she raised her children all alone in the world, suffered and made sacrifices.
Now lets look at what Sonakshi had to do.She too raised a child all alone with the help of her family. And they were homeless without any shelter or anyone to ask help from.
In all those circumstances Sonakshi not only raised Suhana but she carved a niche for herself too.She established a business worth 400 crores.Unlike Ishwari who exploited her own children and ruined their childhood,Sonakshi became successful on the basis of her own merit and never let her circumstances affect Soha. She never compromised with her principles too.

Now Dev adores and worships Ishwari because of her struggles yet he conveniently chooses to ignore and overlook the struggles of another woman whose suffering was perhaps greater than that of his mother.

All because Sonakshi is not going on and on and on with her list of sacrifices, struggles, and difficulties.. Sonakshi just like her challenge to be the best bahu like her MIL should go for training under Ishu to be the best Mother who can be possessive and overacting.. 😆😆

This is a fundamental flaw in desi tv because they are daily shows and usually aim to run for years, they never will evolve the characters. If this was a logical show then we would have had a more complex character in IShweri, I started watching the show to see how she would play out and Neha was someone who would give it back to Dev, Ishwari and was perfect flow.
Sonakshi was just meant to be a catalyst to flare up the equation Dev had with his mom. Which is why the louu story was so shabbily written . Or you tell me how the heck Sona would forget Dev controlling her professional and personal space when he was an employer for his mom. Why would that behaviour and conditioning go for a woman or a relationship just coz it's louu.

But coz hot leads and chemistry worked, the show ended up making a caricature of Ishwari coz atyaachari MIL sells but because it's Supriya and they don't want to go negative. But will keep playing off her to sell drama and drag the show endlessly which is why Dev will never have a spine against his mom.

Sona and Dev are endgame so the pati-patni respect or the drama around it doesn't amuse or entertain me. CVs will have them together in the end toh why bother.

I am still very against the idea of keeping the child away from the father. Forget rationality , it's plain lazy writing and does no service to Sonakshi's character sketch . Because the focus shifts to Dev's reaction, Ishwari and the child. Sonakshi's basic point as to why she moved out will remain ignored. Dev's bonding with the child will be the new USP.

Also, I don't agree with the funda she gave the 7-8 year old child the 'choice"..heck that child will never know what it lost and what could have been worked around. This was a plot device to have cute segments of dad-child and Sona falling in louu with Dev again. Eventually.

Pre-nup, custody..meh, desi tv screws up laws nicely.

Genie 🤗

Desi TV is a freaking joke man. I was watching Ishqbaaz and good lord, the amount of regressive shit being shown on Indian TV is disgusting..All 3 leads in that show married the girls without consent/under duress/under intoxication and all 3 girls are hell bent on making the relationship work and take all the abuse cos pati parameshwar hota hai 😆 I honestly appreciate Ekta more here cos she acknowledges that she shows crap cos crap sells. Ppl like Gul and Beyond Dreams are worse cos they are convinced they are making realistic and path-breaking shows 😆

This show long stopped making sense anyway. They have made a joke out of infertility, child safety, professional ethics, legal system-basically every single thing 😆 If I were Supriya, I'd have quit ages back. But then, I highly doubt any of the actors care about what is being shown or how their character is made to behave so long as they get paid money. So be it 😆

P.S. Did you check out the latest pictures of RF? ❤️ I wish I could become an Ishwari and send Mirka away 😭 Kidding 😆

If Sonakshi goes for training under Ishu then Ishu will surely think that Sonakshi koi nayi saazish rach rahi hai.😉😆
Apni Sona ki yahin mistake hai that she has self respect and she is dignified.Had she been like this sympathy seeking Maa-Beta duo then she too would have announced her pain and struggles before the world.

I saw some posts where ppl are fighting here for Dev's rights ... who cares about everyone else.
why didnt Sona call Dev or did that did this ... to make sure he knew about it.

If CVs show that Sona infact tried to call,, then got a message back from Dev saying "dont even try t call me again" (ofcourse now a days his cell phone is also public property... all one needs to do is get him drunk and he will hand over his phone for misuse to anyone.

or just imagine if Sona had texted , then that text would have been lost in the 1000s of texts that his ex girlfriend send him saying they cant live with out him.. (because poor thing Dev has been having random relationships with girls to get over Sona... we should understand his condition)

or finally i think Sona should have published it in delhi news paper or actually advertised in TV.

so those are the expectations from Sona...

What about expectations from Dev... none . he doesnt have to check if the bose family survived or not after being thrown out ..nah .. how can we put such a big responsibility on a 8yr old... Sona is the mature one and she should have used every single channel to let Dev know that he is a father.

PS: even today the dumbass did not say that ... it doesnt matter if sona came there with or with out baby.. She came there to meet him .. So he should have atleast been told that she came over even after turning her back... Then atleast Dev would have gone out looking for Sona and would have found out... but this dumb Dev dixit gets tongue tied infront of his mom.

😆 Anyway Dev is saved by Ishu.. All behind Dev's innocent acts is Ishu the villain.. So he can do anything and his mother will be there to cover up with her mistakes.. She's the scapegoat anyway.. 😆
And Sona texting to Dev?! Like "Hey.. Here you go.. It's a baby girl.. And yeah you are the father"
Or
"I survived the delivery room. Anyway you don't care"
Or
"If you are reading this it's too late.. It's a girl"
Or any message that makes the big announcement.. And yeah there we go again.. How dare she messages him. How can she know that he read it? What if someone else has read and deleted it? 🤣

Dude, that Ishqbaaz show is very shitty . I just cannot believe that Anika will fall in louu with a guy who basically kidnapped and forced her to marry him by using her brother as a bait. I mean, what even. EKta's shows usually have some sense till 70-80 episodes unless they are all about naagins , then she doesn't pretend to be different. But Dutta , ST and BD are worse. ST"s Ghulaam is so bloody regressive , the chick feels for the guy who married her and then gave her up to his malik and what not, she still chants pati-jaap.

Supriya and others probably get paid very well. So does the writers which is mind-boggling coz tv writers get paid big bucks.

They will run the show using Ishweri-Dev till it's on last leg and then all will be magically well.

Dude, I am still so happy our boy won. That video of Mirka hugging and kissing him made me so jealous. I might also now ship Rafa with Roger. 😳

Wonderful post Tia as usual 👏
you know how painful to deal with Dev - Ish types of people? It' s kill you inside slowly slowly. He even not a single second thought about Sona 😲 and people call he loves her agar ye Dev ka pyaar hai to upervala aisa pyaar kisi ko bhi na de na 😡 he was shouting & threaten to Sona but when he gets to know it's not Sona but mummy dear his voice is super soft 🤬 now officially I declare that I hate Dev Dixit he is not a human for me he is just puppy of Ish nothing else.

Even if Sona had texted him then also she would have been bashed because she gave such a big news to him through a text message.
She should have walked to his doorstep instead.🤣
